As Munchie Case says…”You can’t buy happiness, but, you can buy a Munchie Case…and that’s kind of the same thing!” Truer words have never been spoken. It could be the absolute food lover in me but, having snacks on hand, is something I really love. I actually find it helps me stay on track with my diet and fitness goals because I don’t overeat at mealtime. So, happiness for myself is having delicious and a nice variety of snacks on hand at all times. So, if you’re anything like me, Munchie Case makes this possible and delivers a variety of sweet, savory, and salty snacks to your door every month.

As you can see – what an amazing variety. There are some familiar snacks included in the box, and many I haven’t tried. Needless to say, I was more than happy to dive right in and get to enjoy all the yummy snacks.

BarkThins, Dark Chocolate Pretzels with Sea Salt – Estimated Retail Value $3.00

At first glance, these are right up my alley when it comes to snacks. I love the combination of sweet with salty. I also noticed right on the packaging that it was labeled “fair trade” which immediately appealed to me, being that fair trade is an important value for our society.

Beanfields, Jalapeno Nacho Bean Chips – Estimated Retail Value $1.50

I love Beanfield chips!  They have the most satisfying crunch without the guilt of “normal” chips.  This was my first time trying the Jalapeno Nacho flavor and I’m in love!  I am a sucker for spicy treats and these are one of my new favorite ways to ignite my spicy side!

Ferrero Rocher, Chocolate – Estimated Retail Value $.50

While I can’t say I am the biggest fan of these chocolates, they hold sentimental value in my head, so I always do enjoy them. I wouldn’t go out and purchase them on a whim but, I was happy to see this in the box. They remind me of the holidays and having them at family gatherings. The hazelnut and the chocolate is a delightful combination that I think most know of and can appreciate.

Skinny Pop, Popped Popcorn – Estimated Retail Value $1.50

Careful, this stuff is addictive. This one bag that Munchie Case included won’t be enough to satisfy your cravings for this snack! The good news is, even if you do find yourself constantly craving this delicious snack, it’s pretty much guilt free. So keep on snacking on friends and I’m pretty sure you can purchase this awesomeness at Costco. 😉

Country Archer, Turkey Jerky in Hickory Smoke – Retail Value $3.00

Jerky is always a hit with me.  It is a powerful and compact snack that makes it perfect to throw into my purse.  I didn’t feel that this jerky was really unique in any way, but it was delicious none the less.  The jerky had a good texture to it and the flavor was on par for what I would expect.

Kind Bar (Protein), Toasted Caramel Nut – Retail Value $1.65

I really liked this protein bar.   I try to eat a little bit on the healthier side, so this was more of a splurge for me and I wasn’t disappointed.  It tasted like candied nuts and kept me full for hours which was a huge plus!  This bar was a bit on the hard side but that is to be expected for one that packs so many whole nuts.

Nonnis, Dark Chocolate Almond Cookie – Retail Value $1.00

I am a huge fan of biscotti cookies so I knew this would be right up my alley. I could have eaten an entire case of these if I had them in front of me. The almond flavor mixed with the dark chocolate was delightful and amazing. I love eating these with a warm cup of coffee and I could see myself purchasing them in the future to keep on hand (not eat them all in one sitting of course…).

Gardettos, Original Recipe – Retail Value $1.00

Serious question, who doesn’t love Gardettos? I’ve been digging this snack since high school. I used to be on the dark side and didn’t appreciate the rye chips that came in the bag. I know, what was I thinking?! However, I have come to my senses, and that is my favorite part of the mix. I find this to be a go-to snack for me when I’m in a gas station or need something crunchy while perusing the food market at my work. It’s always satisfying and always tasty.

Corn Nuts, Ranch Flavor – Estimated Retail Value $1.00

I am not ashamed to admit, I’ve bought the variety pack of Corn Nuts from Costco before. Again, this is another snack I have been enjoying for years. I really love them, and the crunchiness of them is hard to replicate. While Ranch isn’t my favorite flavor, I was still happy to enjoy this in my box this month.

Twix Bars, Creamy Peanut Butter – Estimated Retail Value $.75

I thought I would love this candy bar!  I mean come on, I love Twix and I love peanut butter…win win right?  Not so much.  It was okay, but I didn’t feel it was worth the splurge.  I felt like this bar was really dry and didn’t leave my taste buds jumping with joy.  Don’t get me wrong, I still ate the whole thing, but didn’t enjoy it as much as I normally do with a candy bar.

Nerds Rope, Very Berry – Estimated Retail Value $1.25

I shared this rope with my five-year-old son since Nerds are one of his favorite candies.  He couldn’t believe his eyes, “it’s my favorite candy stuck to licorice!? Awesome!”  I really liked this unique treat being included in the box.  I have seen it at the store before, however, it wasn’t anything I would buy on a typical day.  It tasted great too, a little messy, but great taste!

Sour Skittles – Retail Value $.50

These were a little too sour for my liking. For some reason, I don’t recall them being so sour from past consumption. I could eat a few at a time but, I couldn’t imagine eating a whole bag in one sitting. Maybe that was a good thing though? You decide.

Pederson’s Fully Cooked Bacon – Retail Value $2.50

I wasn’t sure what to think of this snack upon first glance. I mean, I love bacon, but, would it hold up to all I’d expect for it? I would say mostly yes. If you’re expecting a crispy homemade taste, you won’t find it here, but, if you are on the go and following a low carb, Keto, Whole 30,  or Paleo diet, this is calling your name. The flavor was pretty good and I could see myself possibly purchasing these in the future.

Overall Thoughts

Once again, we really enjoyed this box. It was stocked full of a nice variety of tasty snacks and I felt that nothing was too repetitive or a repeat from our previous box. I also liked that there was a nice balance between sweet and salty. Depending on what kind of mood I was in, I had my Munchie Case there to help me satisfy my cravings! If anything, this box is a little too convenient to have the perfect amount of snacks delivered right to your door to keep us serious snack lovers happy. It’s okay though, my winter body will thank me later.
