This Month’s theme was “Boxy Bash” in honor of BoxyCharm’s sixth anniversary! Needless to say there was a lot of good products, and once again, they delivered. Please note that I will be reviewing the items we (The Review Girls) received. Items may vary.
Sculptor Palette – Pur
Retail Value: $30
I will be the first to admit that I am not the greatest at contouring but, this is a really good palette for those who are interested in learning and perfecting the look. One being that the formula blends really well and the highlights give you that perfect glow. This palette features two highlighters, and two matte contour shades to give you that really nice and flawless contour look. Like I mentioned, I thought the colors all blended out really nicely, and nice matte formulas. One of the colors is too dark for me but, I can use it as an eye shadow, so I am still very pleased with it.
The Ink Gel Eyeliner – Pretty Vulgar
Retail Value $24
This was one of the two products I was so excited about. I am usually a liquid eyeliner kind of girl but, the formula for this eyeliner is so nice. It dries quickly and you don’t have to worry about it smearing or coming off quickly after applying it. It’s also waterproof which is an absolute must in my opinion. I will say it took me some time to get used to it, since it takes a little longer to get a perfect line; especially if you’re going for a winged line look. My suggestion is to watch the amount of product you put on the brush, as you don’t want too much.
3 Piece Eye Trio & P12 Face Brush– Aesthetica
Retail Value: $45 for the 3 piece + $27 for P12 Brush
I combined a summary of all these products because they are from the same company. I love trying new brushes so I was really happy to see these in my box. All of them work really well, and it was convenient because my brow brush recently needed replaced. I used the P12 brush to put on translucent powder and it worked very well, and offered great coverage. I am always a little hesitant to spend this much on brushes so I can’t really say if I would spend the actual money to buy them at full price but, they are really good brushes and I hope they last a long time.
Blurring Primer – CoverFX
Retail Value: $38
This was the other item I was so excited to receive! This product is a “lightweight, soft focus primer that blurs the appearance of pores, fine lines, and other imperfections creating a smooth canvas for flawless foundation application” (taken directly from the BoxyCharm card). I have combination skin so I typically stick to a matte primer with my foundation because I want to minimize pores and also make sure my foundation doesn’t get cakey or look terrible as the day goes on. I am pleasantly surprised with how well my face looks, and I do like this product a lot. You don’t need to use a ton of it either, and make sure you apply the most of the product to the areas you need. For myself, that is my cheeks, forehead, under my nose, and chin.
Lip Gloss – Han Skin Care
Retail Value: $24
This is my least favorite product, probably because the color is a bit bright for me, and I tend to stick to more neutral colors. I also do not know much about the company other than looking at their website, but, I am sure if this is your kind of color, you will enjoy it.
BoxyCharm also had some amazing coupons for us all to take advantage of:

Overall, this month was another great box, and the entire value of this box came out to be $179 – which is a saving of $158! (BoxyCharm is $21 a month). I have never found a way to get this many good quality products for such an amazing price. Again, I highly recommend you give them a try, especially if you’re a makeup lover like myself, or if you’re getting into trying new products since there is a great variety of different kinds of items.
