Background

I have suffered from thinning hair basically my whole life.  As I’m getting older, it has only gotten worse.  To be honest, I’ve been at a point in the past few years where I’m starting to get downright concerned about going bald.  So when I got the chance to review a product that could not only stop the thinning but also possibly regrow my hair, I immediately jumped on it.  I was sent several Keranique products in exchange for this review.  I have tested the product for 30 days. The below opinions are 100% my own based on my experience.

Shampoo & Conditioner

The first thing I always do with hair products is to see if I like the scent.  These products smelt so amazing.  Maybe I’m alone on this, but I love the smell of salons! And these products smelt like when I’m at the shampoo bowl at the salon.  On average I shampoo three times a week, use conditioner six times a week, and a hair mask once a week.  Over the past 30 days, I used solely Keranique products so I could get a good feel for my results when using their system.  While using the shampoo, I felt a slight tingly sensation on my scalp, however, it went away after I rinsed it out.  My only “gripe” about the shampoo, was that there wasn’t a squeeze lid, I had to remove the full cap each time and pour it into my hands.  The product would get wasted while I struggled to shut the lid while balancing the product in my hand.  I used the mask four times and each time was happy with how smooth my hair looked after drying it.  From the use, I could notice that my hair shafts do felt healthier and more full.  Overall I love all three of these products and will definitely be buying them on a regular basis.

Styling Products

While I fell in love with the shampoo and conditioners from Keranique, the styling products were not my favorite.  The oil treatment seemed to work well when I used it, however, the sprayer would get clogged with each use.  And the mouse came out nicely but ended up leaving my hair feel weighed down and dirty.  I’m used to the “dirty” feel from texturizing products, but this was more of a greasy feel than a gritty one.  I only ended up using each of the products five times, since they didn’t seem to work well with my lifestyle.

Overall

I am so excited to have found a set that is reversing my thinning hair.   I wish I would have taken a before picture because I can tell without a doubt that these products are working for me.  My hair feels and looks fuller and healthier.  The price isn’t unreasonable either, at $19.95 each for the shampoo and conditioner.   I will continue using this product for a few months and update the review with before and after pictures.
