I am really loving this month’s box theme, once again. I love elephants, and also the amount of time and consideration the Dispatch team takes to create these boxes impresses me very much. It looks like this month, we’re getting items from Tanzania!

Each month you receive an insert like the one pictured above, explaining all the clues and items the box contains. I love having a clear outline of what everything is and what I should expect.

What a nice postcard from Tanzania. It looks like the borders may have a hidden message though. What do you think? Also, looking at the guest book – is the scratched out name a clue? Or is that a coincidence?

This clue certainly looks familiar! James certainly loves his favorite mysteries.  I’ve seen some people complain about how long this clue takes to solve but, I actually really love these types of clues. Maybe it’s because I love trying to figure things out. Even though this took some time, it was one of my favorite aspects of the box. I imagine myself being a detective and having to sit down and figure out all these clues.

This was my other favorite part of the box! I haven’t played mancala since I was much younger so this brought back a lot of nostalgia. I love all the background information as well and how the game came to be so popular. A small clue I will give is to visit the website printed on the upper left hand corner. After I figured that part out, it all made sense.

James included some letters written to Mr. White – who owns White Mining company. These letters aren’t good news, and they’re pretty…evil. It appears Mr. White had his hand in some shady practices with a business partner. Well, that can’t be good news.

Don’t forget about the light you received in a previous box. James left you a couple of hidden messages on these documents, and I suggest making sure you scan over all the items, just for good measures. Plus, isn’t it kind of fun to look for hidden messages?

Hmmm…interesting. RW? That has to be Randal White I assume. Well, James, I have my detective hat on, and I am ready to see if I can help you figure this all out.

These clues are pretty amazing. I love that they all look/feel like authentic items. The sticker is actually a sticker, and the ticket looks and feels like a real ticket! Take a look at the back…what’s this? Oh yes, some more clues. I felt proud of myself for knowing most of these.

It also looks like some of the numbers are circled. I will make a mental note to myself that I need to pay close attention to these.

If you flip over to the back of these items, you’ll see there are additional clues to figure out. I struggled with a few of them but, once I deciphered every one – my gosh. If it’s not glaringly obvious from previous boxes and my comments above; this. family. is. shady.

Overall I really loved this box as I usually do for this series. I feel so close to knowing what happened and trying to make justice prevail for James. The puzzles get better each time in my opinion! I do however feel like there are some questions I don’t have answered quite yet but, I think I need to move on to the next box and see if my suspicions are correct. I can’t believe I only have 2 more boxes before everything is revealed! Though I have my strong suspicions on everyone, I am getting excited to finally confirm the truth.

I also want to give a small plug and reminder that I highly recommend this box series as a gift for your holiday shopping. Each month, there’s tons of entertainment, puzzles, mystery, and fun packed in each box. This game series is sure to fit someone on your gift list this season!
