I was excited to open this box the second I saw it come in the mail. Empress Mimi has sent us such beautiful pieces from previous month’s boxes that I knew this one would be just as great.
First off, I love this month’s theme! Feline Fatale has such a mysterious vibe to it. It reminds me of a mixture of Cat Woman and a strong, fierce woman. Both of which I love. Second, the description that Empress Mimi put in this review was well detailed and thought out. I love how the paint the picture of the lingerie subscribers are receiving. Honestly, little things like that set the bar high for me. I like knowing what I am getting in a box, and I love it when the details help me know exactly what I should expect.
As you can see, this month contains a fierce one-piece black satin lingerie set. The material feels so nice and soft. I had a good feeling that it would be comfortable.
The back of the piece was very unique and just as exquisite as the front. I like the buttons on them a lot, and I like how it isn’t too fancy, which some times can come off uncomfortable. The bottom of the lingerie can snap and unsnap, which I think is great because then (well, at least if you’re clumsy like myself) you don’t have to worry about wriggling out of it like a fish!
A close up of the design on this piece reveals how much time went into creating this beauty. I love how it has a rose pattern on it. It definitely reminds me of a true Femme Fatal!
Also, not only was this piece comfortable to wear but, what a pleasant surprise at how confident I felt in it! It definitely helped that it was a one-piece since I don’t have the greatest confidence in the world. Empress Mimi however, is helping with that!
Overall Thoughts
I admire that Empress Mimi has sent us so many unique and beautiful pieces. Each month feels special when the box arrives and I’m able to open it and find out what’s inside! Since no two pieces have been alike, that makes it even more of an experience for myself. All of the items feel so beautiful and luxurious to wear. Also, I love that this particular piece boosted my confidence! That doesn’t happen very often, especially with clothes. I’ve mentioned previously that I can be pretty self-conscious about my body, especially in revealing pieces. I also like that their customer service makes it so easy and convenient to return what doesn’t fit. Life is so busy and that’s one less thing to worry about.
