About Kidbox
There are a few things that I love about Kidbox. First, their Give Back Program is wonderful. When we keep a full box we are able to choose a charity to have Kidbox donate to. I teach my son the importance of giving back so this program helps me show him the practice in real life. Another thing that is great is the fact that this subscription box comes with zero risks. If I don’t love my box, I send it back. I don’t pay return shipping or a styling fee. Basically, I have nothing to lose. Lastly, they send clothing to my son five times a year which keeps his closet pretty well-stocked at all times and keeps me from having to do the majority of clothing shopping.
Spring 2019 Box Contents
It seems as time goes on the stylists at Kidbox are learning my son’s style. We went from sending whole boxes back to keeping whole boxes over the course of a year. My son always gets excited to see what came in his box, he especially likes the fun extras that they include, this month it was temporary tattoos. Since he is five now, he says he is “old enough to pick his own clothes”, so this was the first time that I let him decide what he wanted to keep. While he thought everything was pretty nice he decided that he only really would wear the PUMA jacket and pants. He felt like the other items were too uncomfortable or way too big to justify buying right now. I loved watching him make the decision himself. It would have been a way better deal to keep the entire box, however, a deal doesn’t really matter if the extra pieces will not be worn. So I took his input and kept only the two items he felt would be well-loved. Had there been items that I really loved, I would quickly have vetoed his opinion, however, the pieces he picked were my favorites as well. The boy has good taste…wonder where he got that from?
Here is a breakdown of what was included in our box including prices for keeping individual items.
