For the purpose of this review, I’d like to introduce you to one of my little monsters, I mean cats, Penny. I have no shame in saying I’m a total cat-lady!
Penny is my certified sweet, “lap dog” cuddler. She greets me at the door when I come home and always wants to be around humans. She’s truly a unique cat and I love her so much for it. I also have another cat Asher but, while I was reviewing this box he decided he didn’t want to participate ;).
Pictured above is the Multi-Cat box option. This box is meant to share with more than one kitty friend. Luckily Penny is such a thoughtful big sister and is sharing everything with Asher.
I love the theme of this month’s box! It’s “Welcome to FURbulous Las Vegas”!
Our box contained several toys and some yummy treats for the cats.
A card came in the box that was helpful and outlined everything that was going to be in the box.
Safemade Party Wand – Retail Value $7.00
Both of my cats go crazy for these type of toys. Most people may not realize that cats need stimulation and play. I read how cat owners often find themselves frustrated with their cat clawing and messing up furniture, getting into things, and being destructive. However, toys like this help encourage play while also helping to stimulate their minds. Plus it’s interactive so owners can play with their kitties! I love spending time with my cats and watching them have fun.
Playful Pet Kitty Casino Pillow – Retail Value $4.00
An absolutely adorable kitty pillow. I love how it’s the Las Vegas sign. It’s the purrfect (sorry could not help myself) toy for kitties to use when winding down from their busy days.
All for Paws Lucky Slot Kicker – Retail Value $5.00
This was a definite favorite of Penny’s. She could not get enough of it. I’m guessing it was the catnip packed within the toy. I often find her playing with it when I come home from work or randomly throughout the day!
MAX Limousine Toss Toy – $5.00
This toy was again, so adorable! I love that the theme of this box really reminds me of Las Vegas. While this wasn’t really a hit toy wise for either Penny or Asher, I still love it. I may have to gift it to another kitty for them to enjoy.
Playful Pet Dealer’s Choice Playing Card – $5.00
Penny appreciated getting this in her box as well. I think she honestly likes it because of the arms and legs – as creepy as that sounds. I always find it where she’s laying so she has a new friend to keep her company.
Multipet Catnip Garden (.5 oz) Catnip – Retail Value $4.00
I had a feeling this would be the star of the box for the cats. Both of them have just as much fun rubbing against the bag and tossing it up in the air as they do with any of the toys. Penny could honestly not get enough of it. Catnip is so irresistible to cats and it was honestly kind of cute watching them go crazy over the bag.
PetWinery Purrgundy – Retail Value $5.00
Okay, first of all, the name of this product is the cutest thing ever. I was intrigued by this because I’ve never heard of this kind of treat for cats. It’s made from filtered water, infused catnip, and salmon oil. A kitty’s dream! I haven’t given this to them yet and plan to save it for a special occasion. Maybe we can share a glass together over the holidays? 😉
Overall Thoughts
Overall, this was a fantastic box that I purchased for my kitties. They absolutely loved it and it was entertaining to watch their reactions while I was unboxing everything. While I admit I’m somewhat of a self-proclaimed “cat lady” I really love animals and this box not only brought them joy but, myself. Plus, if you break down the total of how much the box costs, $29.99, the total value is around $35 so you’re still getting great value out of it. I also really believe there is something to be said for spending time with your pets. They love us unconditionally and being able to treat them and return that love is well worth the value! My cats are definitely part of my family, so this was an excellent purchase.
I also love how there’s a nice mix of toys and treats. Lastly, if your cat has any kind of allergies or dietary restrictions, you can give KitNipBox a head’s up when you sign up and they can replace treats with special items.
