There are so many health benefits of taking a daily vitamin. It’s not only an investment for your health but, some vitamins are recommended to take for ongoing health problems. For example, my general practitioner has suggested to me Vitamin D for a deficiency that was causing me to be extremely tired (among other issues).  Persona Nutrition has subscribers take an assessment to personalize their plan.  For instance, I noted that I follow KETO, and because of that Persona recommended a supplement to help cover nutrients that I may be missing while following KETO.  The assessment took me less than 2 minutes to fill out and I felt confident that they captured my needs.  Within 7 days, I had my personalized vitamins on my porch and ready to help me conquer April.

You may have noticed that I posted an unboxing video almost a month ago (see above in case you missed it).  I decided that for me to give a thorough review that I needed to take the supplements for a full month.  That time gave me a chance to really get a feel for if the supplements were doing their job.

Inserts

The welcome insert was short and sweet, with an option to scan a QR code (cropped out of the photo for personal reasons) that would give more detailed information on my plan.  Since I don’t like a lot of wasted paper, I think this insert was a brilliant way to give JUST enough information on my supplement packets, and my Persona program.

The other included insert was not quite as helpful.  The Supplement Facts insert was completely misprinted, which made really hard to understand.  I did end up tearing the pages apart and aligning them the best I can.  Mistakes happen so I can’t be too upset about this minor setback.  But it was something that should have been caught before sending the box my way.

Supplement Packets

The dispenser was so convenient!  My supplement packets were rolled up inside the dispenser and came out so smooth each time!  My plan included packets for the morning and the evening.  Each packet listed what was inside.  The packaging was easy to open and also biodegradable.  My plan was based on the assessment that I took on the Persona website.  For example, I struggle with stress and sleep issues, so they suggested a CBD Hemp Extract.  When they gave me a list of suggestions, I was able to see WHY they suggested it.  I also had the option to take it off my order.

Add Ons

I decided to add on a few items, to see if they fit into my daily regimen.  After hearing a lot about both of these products, I felt like it would make for a great add-on to this review.  The goli Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies were delicious, like a fruit snack!  But to be honest, after reading the Supplement Facts, I knew it was a nonstarter for me.  goli suggests 1-2 gummies up to 3 times per day.  Each gummy contained 4g of carbs.  And since I was following KETO, it just wasn’t going to be worth it for me.  I did however set these aside for when I’m not as stringent on my carb intake and will give them a go eventually.

The Vital Proteins packets were really convenient to throw in my purse.  I can’t say that I loved the flavors, but I could drink them.  I ended up drinking a few to replace my afternoon energy drinks.  While they did their job (keeping me awake after lunch), I wasn’t excited to drink them.  I quickly went back to my afternoon Strike Force.

Overall Thoughts

How did I feel after 28 days of taking my Persona supplements?  I honestly can say that overall, I felt more energy, alertness, and calmness. I was more focused throughout the day and able to accomplish even more than I typically do.  I also did notice less stress and better sleep too, which was the best part for me.  The dispenser and packets made it easy to remember to take my supplements twice a day.  And the packets themselves were way easier than having to open several pill bottles each time!

Another thing that I really liked about Persona is the fact that they really seem to care about the product they are selling.  The assessment really hammered down where I was needing supplements and a rep even called me after my first week to see how everything was going.  According to their website, they also have a Medical Advisory Board, which is made up of doctors and health experts to analyze the assessments and latest research on supplements.  I felt very comfortable putting faith in their service.

The overall price of my packets was $131.82 for 28 days ($4.71/day).  For me personally, that isn’t within my monthly budget.  Even though I love their service and products, it just not in my budget.  However, I could play with my packets and drop some items to bring my price down.  Dropping a few items that I maybe don’t feed (appetite support for example) might make it more feasible.  Overall, it’s an investment for my health and wellbeing and something I would like to pursue if it’s in my budget.
