Once again, we were absolutely thrilled to receive our Sleek Treat Box. The theme of this month was “Power Up” and included some familiar faces as well as some other delicious low carb and sugar-free treats.

Ooh, is that a cookie I see?

I really love always having all the nutrition information right on the insert. I don’t have to search around if I forget, and the explanation of each product is really great. Let’s discuss what was included in this month’s box, shall we?

Just The Cheese, Crunchy Mini Toasted Cheese – Retail Value $1.99

No MSG, No Wheat or Wheat Products, Gluten Free

I am a cheese lover as well as a garlic lover so I was excited to see these crisps in the box.  After trying them, I can’t say I would buy them again.  The flavor is pretty good, although really salty, but that wasn’t a turn off for me.  However, they almost tasted stale to me vs the more crispy cheese snacks that I’ve had in the past from other brands.  Maybe we happened to get a bad batch though because I have heard other people really love this brand!

Vitalize Mints, Sour Cherry – Retail Value $3.99

All Natural, Vegan, Aspartame/Gluten/Dairy/Sugar Free.

These were simply amazing and a definite must reorder for at least myself. I love the flavor of cherry so I could have easily eaten these within a matter of days. I also like that they’re great for my teeth by strengthening them and inhibiting the growth of dental plaque. I’ve noticed that most types of candy that are sweetened with xylitol taste pretty dang good so I wasn’t too surprised at how much I loved these. Also, if you go to their website, it looks like you can save 15%! I know what I’m doing soon.

Nutilight, Hazelnut Spread – Estimated Retail Value $1.00

Low Carb, 0 grams of Sugar, Gluten/Soy/Dairy Free, All Natural

If you like Nutella, you will like this guilt-free replacement.  I ate it straight out of the container with a spoon for an after lunch snack and it cured my typically sweet tooth.  I will be ordering these for my son since he loves Nutella.  I don’t think he will even notice the difference.

Grenade Birthday Cake Bar (Carb Killa) – Retail Value $2.79

Low carb, sugar, and calorie. Sweetened with Maltitol, ISO, and Sucralose.

I really did like the flavor of this bar, which I can’t say very often since I’m a huge texture person and I hate anything that has a super chalky film on it.  It definitely resembled a birthday cake flavor so I’m glad it delivered on that and tasted really good. I could definitely picture myself buying these again because the 20 grams of protein these bars contain definitely satisfied me. They also look like they have some other flavors that would be delicious – I’m talking about you, chocolate chip cookie dough.

BHU Foods, Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie – Retail Value $2.99

Vegan, Keto, Non-GMO, Dairy/Egg/Gluten/Soy Free.

The first thing I noticed about this cookie is how…smooth is tastes (for better lack of a word). Sometimes I expect protein cookies just to crumble in my hand but, this texture was really good! I noticed one of the main ingredients is cashews, which I love, so I’m sure that’s why I really loved this item. The chocolate chips were also sweetened perfectly so it really satisfied my sweet tooth craving. This is also a perfect item for my vegan friends!

The Good Chocolate Trio – Mint, Signature Dark,  and Himalayan Salt – Estimated Retail Value $6.75 (for 3 squares)

Low Carb, No Sugar, Antioxidant-Rich, and Vegan

If you aren’t on The Good Chocolate train,  I need to know what you’re waiting for! This product tastes just like regular chocolate to me. Seriously – if you blindfolded me and did a taste test, I swear I wouldn’t know the difference. That’s pretty awesome, considering that a lot of the times on low-carb diets, sugar cravings can hit you hard. This guilt-free treat is an absolutely perfect way for me to not ruin my diet and give me something delicious to look forward to. The mint flavor was a huge hit for me personally.

Noosh Almond Butter Trio – Original, Birthday Cake, and Chocolate – Retail Value $$2.70-$3.60

Low Carb, Peanut Free, Soy/Dairy/Corn/Gluten Free, and Vegan

I have no shame in my game, I ate the Birthday Cake flavor all by itself from the packet. That one was definitely my favorite. It tasted sweet but, it also had the saltiness from the almonds. The Chocolate flavor was marvelous as well as it was so rich and delicious! We had already sampled the original one, which is always a nice item to have on hand. One thing I always suggest is to make sure you really kneed the packet before opening and enjoying it. Otherwise, it’s a bit oily when you go to enjoy it!

Gorilly Goods, Hillside Trail Mix – Retail Value $2.49

Certified Organic and Paleo, Gluten Free, Vegan, No Added Sugar

I can’t say I’m a huge kale lover so I will admit I was a bit skeptical at first,  but, this trail mix was absolutely divine. I love pumpkin seeds and the salty flavors from them were really showcased. This was the perfect snack to keep on hand when I wanted something somewhat crunchy and salty, without derailing my good eating habits. I also love that this company supports the Diane Fossey Gorilla Fund, aimed at supporting people and saving gorillas. I love animals so much, so I am glad this product was brought to my attention.

Overall thoughts

Per usual, Sleek Treat delivered once again. I feel like they always hook us up with the perfect combination of sweet, salty, and crunchy snacks. I think the fact that they repeat some brands but, also make it a point to include new products is the perfect balance of harmony for this box. Their product insert is also really helpful so I can know a lot about the product before I sample it. Honestly, I don’t think there was a single product this month that I didn’t like so I was really impressed! I can’t wait to purchase some of these products in the future.
