This month’s theme was “Sun & Sand”.

Included in the box was this helpful, double-sided product card.  Each item was listed along with detailed information.

Berry – SparX

Retail Value: $1.56

Nutritional Info: Carbs (2.3g), Protein (0g), Fat (0g), Gluten Free, Sugar-Free. Sweetened with xylitol.

All I can say is, you need to try these!  You will not believe that these are sugar-free.  They taste just like Nerds candy.  I have added these onto my wishlist to purchase as soon as my other favorite, Snowflakes Mints, runs out.

Pecan Brittle – Curly Girlz

Retail Value: $5.79

Nutritional Info: Carbs (4g net), Protein (9g), Fat (23g), Gluten Free. Sweetened with IMO syrup, xylitol, erythritol, and Stevia (Reb A).

This is another home run product included in our box.  It tastes better any other brittle I have ever eaten, let alone a sugar-free brittle.  To be sure I’m not exaggerating how scrumptious this brittle is, I shared it with four other people and everyone agreed it is mouthwatering.  This is another item I will be purchasing in the near future.

Cheese Lover Crunchy Oregano – Intakt

Retail Value: $3.25

Nutritional Info: Carbs (2g net), Protein (5g), Fat (6 g),  Gluten Free, 100 % Real Cheese and Natural Ingredients.

I was a bit skeptical of this product only because I wasn’t sure if the oregano flavor would be extremely overpowering and too much for me. While it was very noticeable, I still really liked it a lot. It was the perfect treat to give myself some crunch and also stay on track. You get a pretty good amount for a serving too (18-20 pieces) so I kept these at my desk while I was at work so I had something to munch on after lunch. One thing I did not like about the packaging was, once you open it you’re pretty much committed to eating all of it (oh darn, right? 😉 ) or else you have to put it in another container or plastic bag. Overall, it was really good though!

Cocoa – MCT Bar

Retail Value: $2.99

Nutritional Info: Carbs (7g net), Protein (15g), Fat (19 g),  Gluten Free, No Sugar Added.

So I really want to be as honest as I can because I would pretty annoyed to purchase this product, just to find out someone wasn’t completely transparent with the taste of this bar. It was not good at all. It contained some flavors that maybe my palate wasn’t used to and I found myself not even able to have more than one bite of it. I shared it with 2 other people, and they both agreed that it was a very odd taste and it wasn’t something they would ever eat. I would almost go as far as to say this product tasted like it was expired/old and not edible. I don’t want to be too harsh but, this was a huge letdown.  Sleek Treat let us know that the company had mentioned on their website they are changing their flavor for this bar, and I hope they take this review into consideration. I will not purchase this and wouldn’t recommend it.

Sour Gummy Bears – Smart Sweets

Retail Value: $3.29

Nutritional Info: Carbs (7g Net), Protein (3g), Fat (0g), Fiber (28g), Gluten Free, Very high in fiber, No artificial anything.

They were delicious! I really enjoyed this treat and they did not have an overly fake taste to them at all. They’re also free from sugar alcohol which is awesome. My favorite flavor out of them was the peach flavor. This package included raspberry, apple, lemon, and peach – but, to be fair, they were all really good. Even though they’re expensive because the bag is so small, I would almost purchase these in the future for going to the movies, so I had something sweet to enjoy.

Double Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie – Quest

Retail Value: $1.96

Nutritional Info: Carbs (5g Net), Protein (15g), Fat (16g), Fiber (10g), Gluten Free. Sweetened with Stevia & Erythritol.

I have been wanting to try this brand for a few months now so I was excited to get this cookie in our box.  For a protein cookie, I have to say it was pretty good.  The texture is perfectly soft and chewy, and it wasn’t chalky like I was expecting.  This wasn’t my favorite product in the box, however, I would purchase it again to have on hand.

Girl Scouts Thin Mints Gum – Project 7

Retail Value: $1.40

Nutritional Info: Carbs (0g Net), Protein (0g), Fat (0g), Fiber (0g), No artificial sweeteners or preservatives, Non GMO.

This gum does legit taste like Thin Mints. I was really happy with that because, I absolutely love Girl Scout cookies, so this satisfied my sweet tooth for a bit. My only complaint about them would be that the flavor doesn’t last very long, so that’s disappointing.  I’ve seen some of their different varieties sold at my local Target, so I may pick some up in the future. They have a ton of other kinds of flavors so I wouldn’t mind trying more of them out, especially since the mission behind the company is really admirable, and I would love to continue supporting a company that is committed to doing great things for the world.

Overall

This is our second box from Sleek Treat and we still have a smile on our face from the July box.  Since both of us are still following Keto, this box has been a lifesaver.  We have been able to find some really good snacks that won’t break our diet.  We have already ordered more of several of the snacks between the two boxes.  I like that each box has a good mix of sweet and savory items for whatever craving may hit at any given time.  As mentioned in our last review on Sleek Treat, the monthly box price is a little higher than buying the snacks individually, however, the fact that they taste test products before adding them to the box makes it worth it for me.  I feel comfortable paying a little more to know that my box will be full of delicious items versus me ordering random products and hoping they live up to my high standards
