We were lucky enough to receive the special Mother’s Day May box which contained some really remarkable items. This was received just in time to enjoy for the weekend so we could pamper ourselves and try something different. One thing that really stood out to me was how customizable the box is, and depending on your wants and needs, they are able to work with you to figure out what will work best for you.

Detox Bath Soak

Retail value: $28

This bath soak called the “Nighty Nite Blend” is designed to help you relax, be calm, and promotes healthy sleep. You receive 4 of these really awesome soaks which I think is really amazing since you usually only get 1 item in normal boxes. I am not really a bath person but, I honestly enjoyed this so much. I also don’t sleep that well at night with constant worries but, I went to bed very relaxed and had a good night’s sleep. The smell itself is so relaxing and isn’t overpowering. It’s very organic and something you can feel good about. The research that went into creating these products was very well thought out and I can definitely tell just by one use. I literally can’t wait to use this product again!

Lotus Tea Lights

How adorable are these tea lights? I love the colors and they put me in such a good mood! I am also a huge candle fan so I was happy to receive them to add to my collection. If you follow the instructions for the bath ritual (included in the box), these are an important item to use – but, in general, I love them just by themselves!

 

 

Pain Away Lotion

Retail Value: $15

The smell of this lotion is so light and refreshing, and the fact that it helps with pain just makes it that much better. I used it after my bath on my legs since I have been sore from exercising, and I believe it helped – although I haven’t used it enough to be 100 hundred percent certain. If you’re like me, I am always looking for more natural ways to help with pain, so I plan to use this often. However, I do want to caution users that you should do your own research with the company before deciding if this product is correct for you to use.

Healing Pendant Crystal:

Retail Value: $20

I don’t know much about crystals, but I was provided enough information to understand how pendants are used.  And I’m always open-minded to exploring new things, especially if it can help with a clear mind and positive thoughts.  While I can’t say this is my favorite item or something I would really utilize, I think it’s a great addition to the box and I know there are a lot of people out there who will enjoy this.  It is beautiful.

 

Deluxe Bubble Bath:

Retail Value: $8

Another really delicious smelling product that we received. This is a great product to use if you want to relax and melt away the stress of your day. It instantly created a calming effect the second I smelled it. It’s much better than just the normal bubble bath products you see in the stores. It smells very natural and organic, which again, I really loved. I get headaches from fake or unnatural smells very easily so I’m so happy that this product wasn’t like that at all.

Incense for Invoking Tranquility

Retail Value: $4

On occasion, I will burn incense because I love the smell of them and how calming they make me feel, so I was happy when I discovered these while unboxing everything. I can’t say if they are much different than the others I’ve received in the past but, they are really good. I will definitely plan to continue using them, especially when using the bubble bath or bath soaks.

 

Golden Fable Scarf

Retail Value: $24.99

I can’t get over how pretty this scarf is. This scarf comes from Bangladesh, and I love how I was provided all the information in regard to this product. As I mentioned in the video, Spirit Within Apothecary partners with women in other countries so they can earn fair wages, which is so incredible and I love that I am helping to support their business by discussing all these amazing products.

Taken directly from the Ten Thousand Villages (www.tenthousandvillages.com) “Hajiganj works with marginalized people in Bangladesh’s Nilphamari District. The group is located in one of the poorest areas in Bangladesh, where people are mostly dependent on hiring out to rich farmers who pay very low wages. Benefits to artisans include profit distribution, a producer security fund, medical allowance and skill development. Hajiganj was established in 1998 in the village of the same name, in northwestern Bangladesh. Initially the women artisans made baskets from kaisa grass, later adding a crochet unit. Ten Thousand Villages has been working with Hajiganj since 2000.”

Aromatherapy Pillow

Claudia from Spirit Within Apothecary included this in our box, and I put it in one of my clothing drawers, so every time I open it, I get a fresh and amazing lavender scent. It’s all organic and natural and no fake ingredients. You can also put it under your pillow, which helps promote relaxation and healthy sleep. I love the smell of lavender, and look how cute the moon is on it!

I highly recommend this box for anyone who is currently suffering from pain or sleep issues. I believe we don’t focus enough effort on taking care of ourselves, and this box has tons of great products to help you with that.  As mentioned previously, all of the items in these boxes are customizable, and the customer service is impeccable, so you know that by working with them, you will receive products you want and will help you feel better. The mission behind the company is something that really stood out as well – how can you not feel good supporting a company that is doing incredible work? This is a box I probably would not have thought about getting on my own, so I’m grateful that we were able to work with them and learn more about their company and their products.
