Signing up for Wee Blessing
Wee Blessing is a clothing subscription box that can be used for anyone and everyone in the whole family. Noelle had received a box earlier this year for her daughter. I loved the box so much that I decided to get a subscription for my 4 year old son. The sign up process was very simple and asked questions about my son’s style to help personalize his box. My son is a bit between size so I opted for a size 7, which I planned on being a little big on him. I also liked that I can pick a frequency (monthly, every other month, quarterly, or every six months) and a budget per item so I can stay within my typical spending range.
After signing up I was sent an email stating I would receive the first box in about 2-3 weeks. After about 5 weeks, I had yet to receive the box, so I sent a quick email over to customer support. Within minutes I had a reply email stating that they were to be shipping my son’s box out the next day. Before the calendar hit 6 weeks the box was on my doorstep and we couldn’t wait to dive in.
OshKosh “Super Sonic Dude” Shirt & Gymboree Khaki Lined Pants

Since my son loves all things outer space, this long sleeve shirt has a huge hit with him. Also, his favorite colors are blue and green (Seahawks family). The fit of this shirt is perfect and I really like the cuffed sleeves. While I’m not sold on the fashion aspect of these pants, the functionality is undoubtedly there. The elastic band will be extra comfy this fall and the jersey lining will surely keep him warm while out during recess.
OshKosh “Play Maker” Shirt & OshKosh Jogger Pants

This was my least favorite outfit in the box. The shirt isn’t terrible, I just wasn’t a fan of the saying or the colors. However, my son loved the shirt and the saying, so what do I know? I like the pockets in the sweatpants and they are very thick and cozy, but I tend not to like large brand displays on my son’s clothes. Both items are well made and will be worn, they just weren’t items I would normally buy.
Hurley Long Sleeve Shirt & Hurley Dri Fit Joggers

Hands down, this was my favorite outfit. The pants are spot on for my son’s style. He actually had me wash these the very day we opened the box so he could wear them to school the next day. The zipper pockets were his favorite part and he said they were very soft and comfy to wear all day. The shirt is a little bit big still so we will grow into it, but we both love the colors and the buttons.
DC Comics Flash Jacket

One thing I mentioned when filling out the personality quiz was the fact that my son was into superheroes. I thought it was really neat that Wee Blessing was able to find a piece that fit his interests AND would be functional this Fall. This jacket fits perfectly and is incredibly soft. I know we will get a lot of wear out of this piece.
Peanuts Halloween PJ Set

Since Halloween is right around the corner, these pajamas were a perfect addition to our box. Since my son is getting older, I haven’t really bought him holiday-themed outfits for a while, so I was happy to have a reason to dress him for the season. Although he keeps telling me he can ONLY wear them on Halloween, so I will need to convince him otherwise so we get more use out of this set.
Value
The total retail value of this box came to $225.95, since I ended up keeping the entire box I would normally have paid $100.80 ($112 – 10% savings for the entire box). I actually was able to use our coupon code “The Review Girls” to save 20% (instead of the normal 10%), so my total came to $89.60. That’s over a 50% savings on some high quality and amazing items. 
Overall
I have to say I’m extremely impressed with Wee Blessing. Yes, it took a lot longer to get the box than I was expecting, however, their customer service throughout the process was top notch. There was never a point where I thought the box wouldn’t live up to my expectations. Personally, I wouldn’t ever pay $225 (retail) price for these clothes. However, the $89.60 that I ended up paying was a bargain. They listened to what we had to say on the personality quiz and really made the effort to ensure that my son would love his new pieces. I can’t wait for our next box! The only thing I would suggest to Wee Blessing is a way for the customer to rate each item. I kept the whole box since the discount made it worth it, however, if there wasn’t a discount I would have sent back the “Play Maker” outfit. It would be great to let them know that it wasn’t our style so they can avoid pieces like that in the future.
Another cool tidbit about Wee Blessings is that it’s not just for small children. They also offer clothing styles for Women, Women’s Plus, Men, Maternity, and for teens!
