I was really excited to receive this box, especially after reading about the company and its founding. I wouldn’t say I am one of those over the top, all-natural, crunchy type people but, I certainly always strive to purchase and use cruelty-free products. Most people don’t know this about me but, I was a vegetarian for a long time. I believe that animals deserve respect, dignity,Ā  and should be treated humanely. Bare Terre puts high quality, and natural products that are free of harmful ingredients and cruelty-free, so I knew this was a perfect box for me.

Let’s get started with the products!

ELF – Eye Makeup Remover Pads

Retail Value: $3.99

As a makeup lover, I was really happy to see this in my box. The best part about receiving this item in our box was that I had just run out of the other product I’ve been using lately, so talk about good timing. I really loved how these were not only fragrant free but, they worked like a charm to effectively remove all of my eye makeup from the day. ELF is not an expensive beauty line, so now that I know these work so well, I plan to try them in the future. They did not sting my eyes or leave behind an uncomfortable dry feeling after using them as well. I only used 3 of the sheets, so they were also cost-efficient because you don’t have to use a ton of the product to get all of your makeup off. I also tend to be pretty makeup heavy, so I can definitely confirm that this is an amazing product, and I suggest you purchase them.

Tarte – Blush (Harmony)Ā

Retail Value: $21.00 (estimated)

Tarte is one of my favorite makeup brands so I actually found myself having a huge smile when I saw this in my box! One of the best things about Tarte Cosmetics is their commitment to cruelty-free makeup, so I always feel good whenever I purchase something from them. I have several other blushes from their Amazonian Clay line, but, luckily I don’t have this color so I can happily add it to my collection. The color is beautiful, very pigmented and blends so easily. I like that even though the color seems dark, it doesn’t go on that way, so you can use this product for an everyday look or if you’re going out for a night on the town.Ā  I really love this collection so I can’t say enough good things about it.

Tarte (Rainforest of the Sea collection) – Deep Dive Cleansing Gel

Retail Value: $10.00 (estimate)

This is another product I really love by Tarte. I’ve gotten a ton of samples of this product but, I haven’t purchased the full-size one before because it’s pretty expensive compared to other cleansers. I was again, very excited to get this product because of how awesome it works! It gets all of my makeup off my face at night, and it doesn’t have an overpowering scent or any fake perfume smells in it. I notice that this product also does not overly dry my face like other face cleansers can when I use them.Ā  I wish I could afford to use this every day but, unfortunately, I can’t justify the price for the full-size item but, I’m always thrilled when I’m able to find sample sizes of it.

Next Organics – Dried Coconut

Retail Value: $4.30

I’m not usually a huge fan of dried fruit, mostly because of the texture. I don’t really like chewy type foods but, I actually did think these were really good. I like that they were unsweetened so I could still enjoy these while on my diet. They are a nice snack if you’re trying to not eat a ton of sugar, and I also really like the flavor of coconut so I enjoyed them. I haven’t decided if I will buy again but, if this is your kind of snack, I recommend this brand. There’s no hidden sugars or ingredients, so you know exactly what you’re getting.

Soar Organics – Matcha Green Tea

Retail Value: $32.99

Ā I’ve actually never really gotten into the Matcha Green Tea trend that seems to be circulating the area. I know at Starbucks they offer lattes, teas, frappucinos and all kinds of Matcha Green Tea drinks but, I’ve personally never tried one. I didn’t do anything special with the productĀ other than following the directions when I tried but, I’ve read on reviews that a lot of people like this brand because you can put it in lattes, and other drinks. I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and how much I liked it. Since I’m not a huge tea drinker, I thought it wouldn’t be my kind of thing but, it tasted really good, and I could tell the ingredients were of great quality. I would recommend this product to anyone out there who loves Matcha Green Tea and you can trust that you’re buying a product with quality ingredients.Ā

Maple3 – Pure Maple Water

Retail Value: $2.00

This was another product I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! I have never tried a product like this so I went in a bit skeptical because I’ve seen drinks similar to this, and I wasn’t a fan. The flavor is not sweet at all but, it reminds me a bit of very, very, watered-down iced tea (if that makes sense). It didn’t taste at all like maple to me (not that it would have been a deal-breaker!), and the fact that it only had 9 grams of sugar in it was really awesome, and I loved that. I’ve always been conscious of not drinking empty-calorie drinks, and this is a product I’d really like to purchase again in the future for a special treat or just to break up the usual day of drinking regular water.

Justin’s Maple Almond ButterĀ

Retail Value: $1

I have eaten and tasted this product before, and it’s so incredibly delicious and satisfying. I used to eat a lot of almond butter and then kind of got sick of it but, this is one product I always go back to. Justin’s products are always made really well and pack a lot of flavor(s) into their products. I have never eaten one that I did not like, and was really pleased to receive this product. This packet is also so nice for on the go, and you can eat it with a variety of foods. Personally, I love it with carrots (as odd as that may sound) but, since I’ve been eating lower carbs lately, I enjoyed this with some celery.

Overall

My overall thoughts for this box are that everything I received was truly what the company described it to be, and I really enjoyed it. Everything was organic, which the box described, and I can’t say anything negative about what was in the box. I don’t think there’s one thing I received where I felt it wasn’t a good product and this would be fun to get this subscription every month. Unfortunately, because we are located in the US, the shipping charge is pretty high, however for all our Canadian friends and followers out there – I really recommend you give them a try.
