The Clean Couture box came complete with a sweet treats themed pamphlet that detailed the products included in the box. I appreciated the helpful price insert which listed the breakdown of what you would pay for each item. The value of this box is just above the price per item, which is always a plus.
Cinnabun Whipped Soap – Retail Value $10.00
This is hands down the best soap I’ve ever used. I love the whipped texture. And the smell is the perfect combo of cinnamon and sugar. I would compare this to lotion and soap in one. My son is in love with this as well. I tried to sneak it into the shower to test as a shave gel and before I knew it he had put it back by the sink to use for his hands.
Caramel Apple Foaming Sugar Scrub – Retail Value: $8.50
After testing and falling in love with the whipped soap, I thought it would be the best thing in the box. That was until I opened this container of foaming sugar scrub. First off, I have never tried a foaming version of sugar scrub so I was pretty excited to do so. Secondly, the smell of this is wonderful! While it doesn’t foam up like a bubble bath, there are suds when using this scrub. The texture is very airy and the exfoliate is a little lighter then what I’m used to. I love this as an option to use more often to the more coarse scrubs that I use on a weekly basis.
Fruity Pebbles Donut Bath Bombs – Retail Value: $10.00
I could smell these bath bombs before even opening the box. They really do smell just like Fruity Pebbles. The bright colors, intense scent, and cute donut shape had me dying to give them a try. As mentioned in nearly every one of my bath box reviews, my son and I do weekly feet soak with bath bombs that I’m reviewing. We were both delighted to throw this yummy bomb in the bath and watch it fizzle. Even my husband came in and wanted to soak his feet, as he could smell it from the next room!
Very Berry Lotion – Retail Value: $4.50
No matter the weather or time of year my hands always are dry. So getting a new lotion to try is always appreciated. This is the perfect size bottle to keep at my desk. The scent is a bit sentiment to me since it reminds me of my favorite childhood treat, blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Don’t worry, I didn’t eat this product, but I did pick our blackberry bushes clean and make a cobbler!
Cherry Vanilla Marshmallow Soap – Retail Value: $7.85
I loved the way these little soap cubes were presented. I thought it was a really creative way to package them and the tub can be reused in my bathroom to hold other items. The scent of the soap was strong, but not in a bad way. At first, I found it a little difficult to use. The soap didn’t lather up right away and the cubes were very slippery. But after a few uses, I was a professional. I don’t think I would buy these for myself in the future, but I loved to try something new and unique.
Overall
This is our second box from Clean Couture and I don’t know which box was more impressive. Every single item was of amazing quality and smelled even better. I am overwhelmed with the number of marvelous products that were in this month’s box. There are several items I would order time and time again. The value of the contents is on par with the price of the box, but what I like is the fact that these are products I probably wouldn’t have bought for myself so it felt like a real treat to receive them.
