Background

I haven’t given much thought to the deodorant that I use since I was in my early 20’s.  Seems I just continue to buy what I’ve always used, as to not rock the boat.  A good friend of mine has been telling me to really look at what I’m using and think about switching to a natural option.  When I started to look into alternatives I got very overwhelmed with all the choices and ended up just sticking with what I have been using.  There are so many options out there and I didn’t want to end up with a deodorant that didn’t work.  Each & Every asked to send us a product in exchange for a review and I figured it would be a great place to start with my research.

My Experience

I was fully aware that there may be an adjustment period of time that could cause an increase in sweat and odor and I figured during this time of Work from Home was the perfect opportunity to give it a try without offending any coworkers.  I was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t have any sort of detox sweat or odor while using the Cedar & Vanilla scented deodorant.  The application is so smooth and refreshing and the scent is amazing.  There isn’t an overwhelming cedar scent, I smell mostly coconut and vanilla which is wonderful.

The last thing I was “worried about” was if the essential oils would end up staining my clothes.  To test it out, I wore different types and colors of tops to see if they would end up stained.  Not one top was harmed in the test, no oily stains were left!  The only thing to mention, is the fact that over the two weeks that I tried the deodorant, the temperature didn’t get above 75 degrees, and was only slightly sunny one day.  While I stayed dried each day, I am curious to see how it works in the real summer temps here in Washington.

Overall

Each & Every has a new customer in me!  Between the eco-friendly compostable mailer to the perfect deodorant, I can’t see myself buying any other brand.  The Cedar Vanilla scent is fantastic and is just too smooth to beat.  I felt dry and stayed odor-free all day.  The true test will be during the summertime, however, I’m pretty sure Each & Every will have me covered for the PNW summer temps.  I can’t say enough great things about this natural deodorant, I am just so happy to have a great product to use.
