After receiving such a beautiful piece from the July box, I was excited to see what Empress Mimi was sending us this month! They actually ended up sending us two really gorgeous pieces of lingerie.
The first piece is the “La Vie En Rose” this satin and lace bra set. Inspired by all things French, this was an absolutely gorgeous set. First off, I absolutely love the color. Pink is my favorite! And second, I love French-inspired items.
I might be one of those weird people when it comes to how clothes “feel” but, I do love the touch of satin.
As you can see, the lace details once again, are so beautiful and nicely put together. It looks and feels really high quality to me. As someone who does not wear lingerie but, is receiving it, this is important to me. I don’t want to wear anything that is uncomfortable, and this is not the case at all with Empress Mimi. It felt cute and fun to wear.
I also liked that the sides of the underwear were adjustable. At first, I thought they may be too big on me but, once I adjusted the straps the fit was perfect and actually quite flattering even though I’m still pretty self-conscious about my body.
I was also sent this other beautiful piece called the Coral Goddess. Now, this piece was something that fit like a dream on me. I liked that it was one piece and it covered my stomach. The sides of it were what made the piece what it is. It felt so flattering on my body and I was shocked at how much confidence it gave me. I’ve also been working on getting into better shape this year, so having something like this is a nice way to remind me of all the hard work I have been putting in!
Once again, all the little details and the design of it were really well done and it felt very luxurious. Receiving something like this every month would be an absolute treat.
As mention above, the design is gorgeous. I love the sides of this piece, and how it laces up. Plus the stars add a nice touch. It reminded me of the ocean and fit perfectly with the theme of “Coral Goddess”.
Another thing that I love about Empress Mimi is how easy returns are. In each box, a return slip is included and you can indicate why the lingerie does not fit. That way Empress Mimi can exchange the item for you and also understand why the piece didn’t work out and try to replace the item with something more appropriate.
I also want to add that it’s been great working with Empress Mimi. They have incredible customer service.
Overall Thoughts
Empress Mimi is a great subscription to help you start building your lingerie wardrobe and the chance to receive different items each month. Every woman out there deserves to feel good about themselves. Even if no one sees you in the lingerie that doesn’t mean, in my opinion, you shouldn’t treat yourself each month. I also love how the different lingerie that has been sent to us is unique in its own way and it doesn’t feel like a repeat. The quality is also really amazing and feels so luxurious to wear. While the Coral Goddess was a huge hit for me, I also really loved the Rose set as well. It made me feel strong and beautiful which is important. We all deserve something that makes us feel great.
