This review was written by my lovely husband, Justin. I purchased this box for him as a gift for Father’s Day because I knew he would love anything that involved craft beer! We are always going to local breweries, so when I first heard of this box, I knew this was going to make an excellent gift. I purchased him a three-month subscription, and I even went as far as to buy my dad one as well!

Odd Otter Brewing Company, Location: Tacoma, WA

T-Shirt: Estimated Value $20.00  – $25.00

At first glance, I was a bit indifferent towards the shirt.  The logo is just a heat pressed patch and unfortunately, the one I received was somewhat crooked. The cut of the shirt is also wide and short, similar to Old Navy T’s which don’t fit tall people, like me, well. However, after wearing the shirt, I actually thought it was really soft and I was proud to support not only a local brewery but, a veteran-owned brewery. As a veteran myself, I always want to support those who have served our country. We are also located in the Pacific Northwest, so we are going to visit them as soon as we can.

Pint Glass: Estimated Value $20.00

I am always excited to receive the new pint glass!  We are a craft beer family so we have a small horde of glasses from all different breweries. As far as glass goes it’ a standard pint glass, but, as I mentioned above, it makes me proud to own this and knows I helped support a local and veteran-owned business.

In addition to the items mention above, I also received a very nice Odd Otter coaster and sticker, which is already on my hardshell suitcase, and a nice print letter introducing their company. They sound like great guys. I took a peek on their website and they have these really great “Pride” branded Odd Otter T-Shirts, so you know they are good-hearted people.

Home Brewed Soaps (Right)

Estimated value: $6.50

I love these organic craft soaps. I loved the way the whole shower smelled while using it and it stayed in the room for some time. The earthy aroma is really satisfying and I love New England IPAs. I must say that I have only ever used these soaps when I have more or less got them for free. I cannot see myself spending the money for craft soap just because it’s a bit pricey but, I was definitely glad to receive this in my box.

Brode Electrolyte Vitamins (Left)

Estimated value for full product:  $27.00 (Pack of 10 packets)

I’ve been on the Keto diet for a month now and I’m really lacking in electrolyte intake so without hesitation I happily ate these up. They smell a little odd and have a fishy taste though. It is a little hard to review the effects but, any good supplement with vitamins is a good thing for our bodies. I’ll give this brand a try when I hit GNC soon.

Old Town Delights, Truffles & Caramels

Estimated Value for full product:  $19.99 – 11.99 (12-6 oz)

I must be transparent and mention that I am not a dark chocolate person at all and would never buy these for myself. With that being said, I have to say that these tasted about as fresh as it could get. The chocolate was delicate, creamy, and the caramel was as soft as any caramel I’ve ever had.

Prohibition Pastries, Cream Oatmeal Cookie:

Estimated Value for full product: $3.00 – 4.00

The Cream Cookie was next and that too was remarkably fresh. I am not sure how they were able to keep this product staying fresh that long but, I am guessing its quality ingredients. The cookies had a semi-sweet taste and same with the cream. To me, they tasted more like European desserts that aren’t heavy on sugar. I’m not a big sweets guy but, they tasted pretty good. My wife looked them up online, and all of their deserts look fantastic! (Also a plus, they are located in Pittsburgh. ( Read below to find out why this is awesome).

Overall:

Overall this box is pretty cool, and for the money, I think you get enough to make it worth it. I received this gift for Father’s Day and I really loved this as a gift. The shirt would normally be $20.00 to $25.00 at a brewery however this particular shirt, isn’t worth that price to me. Like I mentioned above, I was also disappointed in the shirt logo seeming to be off-centered. I’m excited to receive my box next month and see what is in that.

I also want to point out that their customer service is top-notch! My wife contacted them when she first signed up and they were so friendly and promptly responded to her email. They are also located from my wife’s hometown of Pittsburgh, so I thought that was really cool!
