While it is true, I have a love for most sweet treats….fudge tends to be at the top of my favorites list. I personally make it at least once a year, generally during the holidays and end up eating a good portion of each batch. And when I pass a small candy shop, I invariably have to pop in to buy some of their fudge. Needless to say, when Fudging Delicious reached out to us to review their subscription box I had two thoughts; “Wow, there really is a subscription box for everything! This is one I can get behind!”
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge
Chocolate Peanut Butter is such a dynamic duo. The salty sweetness is one that always gets me hooked. Fudging Delicious really nailed their version of this amazing combo. The texture was very creamy and each piece I cut was soft and melted in my mouth with each bite. I also liked that the peanut butter wasn’t too overpowering like some candies can be.
Chocolate Mint Fudge
This was my favorite out of the two.  It was the perfect mixture of mint and chocolate. I ended up sharing some of this with Noelle and she really liked the taste as well.  The only thing I would like to see added is an ingredient label. I can see where anyone that might have food sensitives would have to toss anything without that information. Or if they gave it to someone as a gift and they didn’t realize that the person had a food allergy, that could be an issue as well.
Extras
I really liked how they included extra candy in with the fudge. I feel like the extras made it more fun to open, especially since it wasn’t expected at all. The below picture may be missing a few pieces though as my 5 year old happens to love Reese’s and was hanging around while I was taking the pictures. I definitely need to keep an eye on that kid, ha.
Overall
The idea of having fudge delivered to me on a monthly basis is dangerous but also mouthwatering and exciting. I do try to watch what I eat and stay on a healthy path. However, it is always nice to treat myself and I’m pretty good at sharing.  Supporting small business is important to me, so the fact that these treats are handmade is a huge plus.  I can see this box becoming one I look forward to each month. Also, this box would make the perfect gift for pretty much any occasion…birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine’s Day (which is coming up!), etc. would all be a great reason to purchase this for someone special in your life.
