The insert that was included in our box isn’t very descriptive.  Also, it is important to note that between us receiving our box and our review going live, GemCrew did update their box tiers.  The items we are reviewing are from a new tier offered known as the Glitz Box.

Stackable Rings

I love stackable rings since there are so many different ways I can wear them.  Theis set felt a bit small for me, but I could adjust them a bit by bending it.  I’m not sure I was supposed to bend it as much as I did though, so we will see if they end up breaking after wear.  The flowery one is not really my style.  I do however like the two without the flower, so I could see myself stacking those two rings to wear out.

Cuff Bracelet

While it doesn’t feel very high quality, it looks amazing on.  I also like that it is lightweight and easily fits a variety of sized wrists.  This is the perfect piece to dress up a casual outfit.  Also, it matches the stackable rings perfectly.

Feather Earrings and Necklace Set

The two-tone colors of the leaves and feathers were so charming.  The necklace was my favorite piece in the box. I could see me wearing that to work with a cute plain tee.  However, I don’t have my ears pierced and feel weird breaking up this set, so I will add this to my gift closet for a special someone down the road.  I know anyone I gift this too will be excited to flaunt this set!

Overall

The quality of the jewelry seems on par with the lower/middle tier that is the “Glitz Box” offered by GemCrew.   This box runs $14.99 per month and I tend to think that the value is there.  However, without much information to go on it is hard to say.  It would be helpful to have some info on each item in the box, some details like metal type, or estimated value, and the brands.  Something so the subscriber knows what they are looking at.  Their website doesn’t have a ton of information yet either, which I chalk up to still being a new company.  All that being said, I’m excited to see where GemCrew goes with their new service.  I think as time goes on and the small kinks are worked out, they will be a great option for people looking to up their jewelry game!
