Nike AeroBill Hat – Retail Value: $24

While I’m not much of a hat person, I love the lightweight feel of this hat.  It also is adjustable which is great.  However, my head is on the bigger side, so even with adjusting it I still couldn’t get this hat to fit me.  I will keep this as a great gift for one of my friends though.

adidas Shirt – Estimated Retail Value: $18

adidas is so in right now, so I was happy to see a product from them in our box.  I’m not 100% sold on the bright color choice of this shirt, however, it did have me dreaming of the spring days that are surely just around the corner.  Overall, it is a great quality shirt and fit me perfectly.

Reebok Training Gymsack – Retail Value: $14.97

This gym bag is great.  The bag itself and drawstrings are both made with thick material that I’m sure will hold up for a long time.  Bags like this are my favorite since there is just enough room for what I need to carry without having to dig around a larger bag.

Muscle Milk Protein Bar – Retail Value: $2.24

This was surprisingly good for a protein bar.  I tend to only like bars that taste like a candy bar and this one did a great job of tricking me.  I would order this again in a heartbeat!

ThinkThin Protein & Fiber Bar – Retail Value: $1.26

Personally, I wasn’t a fan of this protein and fiber bar.  It was way too sweet for me.  I am not one for White Chocolate so I know that was part of it.

TRU Protein Bar – Retail value: $2.49

Who doesn’t love donuts?  I mean they are the comfort food that I long for on a sleepy Sunday morning.  While this bar wasn’t the real thing, the flavor was pretty close to a glazed donut.  I really like that it was plant-based protein too since I didn’t taste any chalky powder taste that is typical of protein bars.

Power Bar ProteinPlus Bar – Retail Value: $1.53

This was another bar that I, unfortunately, didn’t like.  It tasted like protein powder.  If the chalky taste doesn’t bother you, the flavor isn’t terrible but, the consistency of it was a huge turn off for me.

Overall

The Half It box offers a great variety of gear and snacks.  With even just my first box from them, I felt like I was ready to get my butt in gear and start the whole “New Year, New Me” routine that I planned back in January.  The value of the items far exceed the price of the box and they have set the bar high for fitness boxes. If they can keep up the high level of curation then this box will be very successful!   My only suggestion would be to stick to either one big brand in the box for the gear or maybe a color scheme at least.  It felt a little random to get one thing from each big brand.

Try Half It today!
