This is my second box from LeilaBox.  While I’m posting the review a month after the first one, don’t let that fool you.  The turn around time was incredible. I got my second box within three days of sending my first one back!

The normal boxes contain three pieces but, to be transparent for the review, LeilaBox sent me three pieces along with a pair of earrings.  Since my ears aren’t pierced they didn’t want that to count as a piece and they still wanted to give our readers an idea of what a box with earrings might look like.   It is free to exchange your box as many times are you would like during each month for the same fee of $22.

Crystal Cage Necklace – Crossroads

I don’t think the photograph does this necklace justice.  I love the caged look of this piece.  It is very edgy and different from what I normally wear.  And there is still just enough sparkle to be able to dress this necklace up or down depending on the occasion.   The length of the chain was perfect for me too.

Triple Teardrop Earrings – Machu Picchu

These are very cute drop earrings that I could easily see me wearing to work if only my ears were pierced.   They were also very lightweight, which I wasn’t expecting.  The only complaint here is that one of the backings was missing on this pair, which wasn’t an issue for me since I didn’t wear them.

Bolt Bracelet – Italian Ice

It was hard to take a good picture of this bracelet, but it was a really nice piece.  It had a little sparkle too it but was still small enough that I could wear comfortably all day.  I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy this piece but it was nice to have it to wear around for a few days and return it to LeilaBox.

Leather Mini-Cuff – SuzyT

I am a major fan of leather cuff bracelets.  For starters, they are super comfy to wear since the leather is soft on my wrist.  Being that I’m at a computer all day, metal bracelets tend to be a tad harsh after a day or two of wearing them.  This leather cuff was comfortable and beautiful at the same time.  I loved the unique look of the pearls, Swarovski crystals, and Jasper stones all mixed in together.  This is just the piece that would make me continue a subscription with LeilaBox.  I was sad to send this one back but also knew that it part of this box and I couldn’t justify spending the money to keep it.  Here’s to hoping for more pieces like this in future boxes!

Overall

This was my second box from LeilaBox.  So far, the best part has been getting to try jewelry pieces that are unique.  The other thing I love is that I’m getting styled by this box.  Since they are sending pieces that I typically wouldn’t pick for myself they are helping me step out of the box and try out items that I may fall in love with.  Lastly, how great is it that I get to wear amazing pieces for a few weeks and then exchange them for even more amazing pieces?  To the outside world, It looks like I spend a fortune on accessories when really the box is only $22 per month.  For my third box, I have reached out to LeilaBox and requested pieces for a special event that I’m attending in June.  Turns out they can style pieces around my outfit, all I had to do was ask.  How is that for customer service?  Stay tuned for that review coming in late July.
