First, can we talk about how beautiful this box is?  Everything from the graphics, to the foil paper, and sticker are on point.  As you can imagine, I see a lot of boxes, and I would venture to say this is the prettiest box I have seen to date.

The Luna Babe Box is different from a standard subscription box because they tailor each box to your personal tastes and hobbies.  When you set up your style profile they ask you questions ranging from how you describe your style to what your interests are.  I like the idea of getting a box-shaped to my personality.  Read on to see a break down of what my August 2018 box contained.  And remember your box (if you sign up) will look different.

Necklace – Color

This chunky necklace is the perfect accessory to dress up my wardrobe.  It is a bit heavy for me to wear in the summer, but I love how the light reflects off it so I can still see myself wearing this.

“Cheers to Life” Shimmer Eye Shadow – City Color

Retail Value: $5.99

This eye shadow is right up my alley.  I tend to stick with neutral shades and love throwing in a bit of sparkle every once and a while.  This shadow goes on really smooth and lasts all day.

COLOR Lip Stick – OFRA

Retail Value: $17.00

I am not a lipstick person.  I normally only wear chapstick or maybe a clear lip gloss every once in a while.  That being said, this lipstick is amazing.  It is the perfect color for me and the matte finish is just what I needed.  It went on easy and lasted through eating and most of my day.  I’m glad I got the courage to try it because I will definitely be adding this to my makeup routine.

Bitter Sweet Lip Liner Pencil – Ulta

Retail Value: $6.99

I am even less of a lip liner person.  I have never owned lip liner and I have only worn lip liner when I’ve gotten my makeup professionally done.  I’ll admit that I had to YouTube how to apply it.  I have no outside experience on lip liner, but this one seemed to go on very smooth and was easy for me to use.  I loved the way my lips looked with both products on.  The liner really defined my pout and the lipstick is perfection.

Vitamin Sea Face Mask – Spa Life

This was the perfect little add on to this already spectacular box.  I couldn’t find any information on this mask or brand online.  It had a nice cooling sensation while I was using it and my skin felt very soft afterward.  I will add that my skin broke out pretty bad about a day later, which for me is normal when trying most new products.  Personally, I wouldn’t buy this in the future knowing that my skin didn’t agree with it.

Sunglasses – Brand Unknown

I might have done a happy dance when I opened the box to these sunglasses.  I have been wearing my husband’s sunglasses for over five years.  He jokes about it every time we are in the car together.  I’ve just never found a pair that I liked as much as his so I have forever claimed them as my own.  I think I found that perfect pair with these!  I love the way the look on me and have gotten so many compliments while wearing them this past week.

Navy Tank Top – City Chic

I was so excited to get this top.  The zipper accent is just what I have been wanting to try this summer.  This tank top is adorable and the deep blue color is one of my favorite colors to wear.  Unfortunately, the fit isn’t right for my body, so I can’t see myself wearing it.

Cropped Yoga Pants – Under Armor

Everyone knows that yoga pants are life.  So getting a pair of high-quality yoga pants in my box was a sure win.  I happened to be in need of a new pair too so these were the perfect item for me to receive.

Overall

This is one of my favorite boxes to date.  The items were of high quality and matched my style very well.  I’m not a huge makeup fan, however, the products included in my box were great for a beginner and were a lot of fun to play with.  The value is amazing, while I don’t have exact prices on some products I can tell you the contents are worth well over the price of the box.  I can see me getting this box in the future!
