Mila and Pheebs is a subscription box that is curated for children 5 and over.  They pack the box full of stationary and craft supplies that all compliment the monthly theme.  The August theme was baking, which I thought was adorable.  Included in the the box was a content card as well as a newsletter, both items were brightly decorated with the month’s theme and helped pull the box together.

As most of you know, I have a 4 year old son.  He does get into crafts on occasion, however it has to be his own idea. Creativity isn’t something that can be forced, something has to inspire us to create and that is what this box aims to do. The bright colors of this box immediately helped my son decide that he was ready to dive in and start creating.  See the slideshow below for the items that we received in our box and some of the ideas my son came up with .

Overall

My favorite types of boxes are those that contain an experience for myself and/or my family to enjoy.  The theme was something that I adore and the vibrant colors really caught our attention.  My son wasn’t as ecstatic about this month’s theme as I was, however he still really liked most of the products.  His favorite items were the highlighters, the shrink art, and the doughnut coloring page.  The price point of the box itself is reasonable.  With this box being shipped from the UK and the cost of international shipping, I can’t say that I would continue to order this box, however if I were living in the UK I would order it monthly in a heartbeat.
