While I’m not typically a jewelry person, I get excited to showcase jewelry subscriptions for our blog.  Seeing what boxes have to offer our readers brings extreme joy and I never know what to expect.  Mint Mongoose reached out for a review and I was excited to give them honest feedback on their service.  I really liked that I was able to specify preferences, such as requesting rose gold (over silver or gold tones) and opting to not get earrings.  Since personal style can vary so much from subscriber to subscriber it is important that jewelry subscriptions give an option to set preferences.  Watch the below unboxing video and read on to see my overall opinion of Mint Mongoose.

Shamrock Set

I have always been a sucker for four-leaf clovers and this set is perfect for me.  Since I don’t wear a lot of jewelry on a day to day basis,  light and simple pieces are easier for me to add to my outfit than a large chunky piece.  I like that I can easily adjust both the bracelet and the necklace with this set.  While it seems like March will be the best month to rock this set, I actually could see myself wearing this all year round.  It can be my new lucky charm!

Emerald Locket

Although I was sure this locket would be too bulky for me to comfortably wear, emerald is one of my favorite colors so I was excited to try to wear it.  The locket can hold a rather large photo which is super unique.  Also, I loved the lily design on the back.  While I love the look of this necklace, I think I will end up gifting this to someone special.

Overall

I was super impressed by the packaging and overall visual appeal of Mint Mongoose.  The little details of the wax-sealed envelope and the Thank You card are perfect ways to show how much thought is put into this subscription.  I also really liked that there was a theme to the box that was tied together with each piece.  The three pieces I received look and feel like high-quality pieces.  While I can’t gauge the overall retail value of the pieces, $15.99 per month seems like a wonderful deal!  I would say this is a wonderful box for anyone looking to add to their jewelry collection.
