RealHer is a certified cruelty-free and paraben-free makeup brand that strives to empower its customers. Their products and packages include beautiful affirmations that remind customers of their worth. On top of the affirmations, RealHer also donates a portion of its proceeds to a variety of nonprofit organizations that work to make the world a better place. Typically I am pretty low key with my makeup, spending less than 15 minutes doing it on an average day. However, I was incredibly excited to be able to review some RealHer products since their ideals aligned so closely with my own. Read on to see what I thought about each item they sent for review.
Eye Am Beautiful – Full Volume Mascara – $18.00
This is a large tube of mascara and includes a nice hefty brush. The product went on nice and smooth without leaving any clumps on my lashes. My lashes looked amazing and still felt soft and flexible to the touch. However, my favorite part about this mascara is the fact that it doesn’t flake off during the day. For the price and quality of this mascara, I highly suggest this product!
I Feel Beautiful – Eyeshadow Palette III – $28
The colors in this palette are not only beautiful, but they are also super easy for a beginner like me to use. Each color is easy to blend out for a soft look or build-up for a more dramatic feel. I especially loved that I could use this palette as a highlighter! Another thing I noted was that there wasn’t very much fallout when applying the product, which is always a huge plus. Plus, this palette is talc-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, and certified cruelty free, so I can feel good about using it!
Eye Am Inspiring – Definer Brow Pencil – $16
As mentioned above, I’m a bit of a makeup noob. This is actually only the second brow pencil that I have ever tried. I wasn’t impressed with the other brand that I tried, so I never thought to give these pencils another go. RealHer proved to me that a good brow pencil is worth having in your makeup bag!
I am in love with this product now. It glides on so easily and the micro tip gives me enough control over how I want my brows to look. The spoolie blends everything so nicely and makes me feel like a pro! Plus, it is waterproof so the rain in Washington is not an issue. I will continue to buy this definer pencil now that I know how valuable it is!
I Am Awesome – Deep Nude Lip Gloss – $21
I do not wear lipstick, since it intimates me. Lipgloss on the other hand is always in my purse. A quick swipe of lipgloss is easy to apply and makes me feel like I have my life together. I was really excited about this deep nude gloss from RealHer since it’s a little more pigmented than the nude shades that I normally opt for. Plus the “I Am Awesome” affirmation was once that I knew would make me feel amazing with each application. The gloss goes on really smooth and wasn’t sticky. I actually felt like it hydrated my lips throughout the day too which was a nice surprise.
 Nothing Is Impossible – Vegan Foundation Brush – $20
“RealHer brushes are vegan, cruelty free, and created with synthetic nylon bristles making them ideal for powder, cream, and liquid products. Each shed-free brush has their own unique message to empower you with each stroke from morning, midday touch-ups, and evening nights out.” Â
I use a small amount of liquid foundation to even out my skin tone. I personally love this brush since it the shape allows me to lightly cover my whole face, including under my eyes and around my nose. It provides good coverage without leaving behind streaks of product. I also felt like it wasted less product than the Beauty Blender that I typically use.
Overall
