“Self Love” is something I think everyone should practice. Even though this box is geared towards single women, it contains some pretty amazing items!
I love the insert cards that came in the box. Not only does it include details on the items but, it also gives some self-love advice, and I loved that they included a welcome card since this is the first box I have purchased.
Belgian Boys Cookie Stash Duo – Retail Value $5.00
I thought these were adorable. I loved how they were shaped like little mustaches! I definitely thought that the cookie butter ones had a better taste. Not to say the chocolate chip flavored ones were bad, I just really love cookie butter!
MakeupDrop Body Edition – Retail Value $20
First, I just need to preface this with, I am a Beauty Blender ride or die kind of girl. That being said, I have been wanting to try this out for quite some time.
According to the website, Makeup Drop can be used in a variety of ways. It can be used for foundation, cream makeup, blushes, lip stains, etc.
I decided to put it to the ultimate test against my Beauty Blender, just to see how it holds up. On the left, I used the Makeup Drop, and on the right, I used my Beauty Blender.
I used the same exact products on both sides. For a primer, I used Too Faced Primed & Peachy Matte Primer and for foundation, I used ColourPop’s No Filter Foundation.
From the naked eye, as you can see, there isn’t much of a difference. One thing that probably isn’t as apparent from the photo is, I couldn’t get the foundation to blend around my nose as well with the Makeup Drop. I also go back in multiple times and really blend around my forehead to make sure it doesn’t look strange where I, unfortunately, have wrinkles. The plus side to the Makeup Drop is I used way less foundation than I normally use due to there being no sponge to soak up all the product.
Spongelle Boxed Flower, Lavender Vanilla – Retail Value $20.00
Okay, really, these things are the bee’s knees. I have gotten several of them in boxes before and I love using them every single time. They help buff and exfoliate the skin, and also clean and moisturize at the same time. This one also smells delicious so I did not mind using it at all. I also love that the product is vegan and cruelty-free!
Sweet Feet, ‘One in a Melon’ Socks – Retail Value $18.00
How adorable are these socks? I love collecting cute pairs of socks. For some reason, it always puts me in a good mood to have on a fun and vibrant pair of socks when I’m having a bad day.
These cute socks from Sweet Feet are no exception. They instantly brightened up my mood, and they felt so soft and comfortable. I also noticed there’s a 30% coupon available on their website if you enter a valid email. I’ll definitely be checking out what other socks are on there!
Monarch Bloom Shine Bright Necklace + Earrings Set – Retail Value $84
Since I do not wear jewelry on a regular basis, I was not immediately “wowed” by this product. I did like the sleek look of it, however, and felt that it would pair well with most outfits that I wear either to work or on a daily basis.
I realize now it might be hard to tell from the pictures above due to the lighting in my house but, these are 18k gold which is exquisite and awesome that Single Swag included this in the box!
Seraphine Botanicals Quinoa + Baobab Sculpting & Strengthening Mascara – Retail Value $28.00
I had not heard of this brand prior to receiving this item in the box so I had to look them up to find out some more information. I was excited to see that the mascara was vegan and cruelty-free, which is a must when I’m considering purchasing any kind of makeup product. According to their website, this mascara is…”A rich, black mascara that is formulated to boost lash thickness, length and curl with a blend of plant waxes, copolymers and lash conditioners. Infused with Baobab Seed Oil and Quinoa Seed Extract that help repair lash follicles and impart suppleness to strands. ”
I decided to give it a try when playing around with makeup.
I was pretty impressed with the length and volume, which is exactly what the product promised.
I did notice that the retail value is listed as $28.00 but, if you go to their website, it looks like it’s sold for $24.00.

Unfortunately, I have not had much time to dive into this book too much but, I love the idea of it. Everyone deserves to feel like a badass, every day! Whether or not you believe it – just remember you do have it within you do be one and you can conquer anything.

Lovehandle Phone Grip – Retail Value $10.00
If you haven’t made the decision to purchase one of these items, I highly recommend. I absolutely love my pop socket, which is different from this product, but the idea, in general, is awesome. I can’t imagine using my phone without this! The product claims to stick to any smartphone device. However, since I already have one I use and love, I’ll be gifting this to a friend or a family member and hope it works well for them.
Overall Thoughts
Overall I was very impressed with this box, and I loved all the items in it. Getting a treat like this box in the mail every month would be so awesome. I know I tend to often forget practice self-love or do nice things for myself because naturally I’m more of gift-giver or like to do nice things for other people, rather than myself. Plus, I find it’s difficult with the normal craziness of life to sit back and think about doing things other than just surviving the day sometimes.
