The Cookie Department, Cake Walk – Retail Value: $3.75

If you are in need of a cake fix while maintaining a low carb diet then this cookie is for you.  It tastes just like a slice of confetti cake.  The texture is spot on as well.  I’m amazed at how wonderful this cookie is! I could literally eat this for a dessert every night.

Bunker Hill, Crunchy Cheese Crisps– Retail Value: $3.75

Cheese crisps are my go-to snack when I’m feeling the need for chips.  And I’m really digging the buffalo flavor of these crisps from Bunker Hill.  The crisps are nice and thick and perfectly crispy.  I would buy these again in the future for sure.

Kiss My Keto, Keto Gummies – Retail Value: $3.33

I have been a huge fan of Kiss My Keto since first trying their Chocolate Cookie Dough bar in the November 2018 Sleek Treat box.  Needless to say, I was stoked to try another one of their products.  The bag of gummies is on the smaller size compared to other ones that I’ve tried in the past.  However, they taste amazing.  The peach flavor was my favorite.  These are a perfect snack to keep in my purse for times when I need a quick snack.

IQ Bar, Chocolate Sea Salt – Retail Value: $2.08

Having tried IQ Bars in the past I thought I knew what to expect with this flavor.  While this Sea Salt Chocolate version isn’t my favorite, it wasn’t bad either.  I noticed a slight aftertaste too and am thinking that is from the Stevia Leaf Extract.  Personally, I would opt for their Blueberry Lemon if given a choice.

Norti, Chocolate Bar – Retail Value: $5.00

This is one of my favorite chocolate bars on the market.  I’m guessing that it is because it is sweetened with my favorite sweetener, Xylitol.  Xylitol tastes so close to sugar that I can’t really taste a difference.  If you haven’t tried this chocolate bar, you are missing out.  As you can tell for my picture, our bar arrived a tad mutilated, however, the flavor was still great.

Gorilly Goods, Hillside Pumpkin Seed & Kale – Retail Value: $2.58

I love pumpkin seeds year-round, however, they have a special place in my heart around Fall time.  I have so many childhood memories of baking fresh pumpkin seeds with my family.  These are not the typical homemade seeds though.  The seeds from Gorilly Goods offer way more flavor than I could have dreamed of.  I also really like that this bag is on the bigger size since I can enjoy them over the course of 2-3 days.  They are such a yummy treat.

Project 7, Golly Lolli’s – Retail Value: $1.25

This is the one treat that I haven’t tried yet.  I wanted to save them for a day when I’m out and about and need a “sugar” fix pronto.  Also, I know my son will love them, so it is perfect that there is more than one.  I plan to come back and update this review once I have had the chance to enjoy at least one of these little suckers.

Overall

Month after month Sleek Treat delivers a wonderful assortment of low carb treats.  They taste test products beforehand selecting their favorites for upcoming boxes, which is pretty exceptional.  The price of the products in this particular box is well under the monthly price of the box.  However, I can’t say that is a deterrent for me since I’m getting the peace of mind knowing that all the snacks will be ones that I like.  Before I started getting this subscription box I would randomly buy low carb snacks and hope that it was worth the money.  Often times that lead to disappointment and wasted snacks/money.  Therefore, I still see real value in the Sleek Treat curation.
