I remember as a young child trying to tie my dad’s tie and thinking what an interesting and difficult thing to do! Why do adults have to do this every day for work?! I also (unfortunately? fortunately?) went through the teenage phase of trying to replicate Avril Lavinge’s tie look,  and failing miserably at doing so. Long story short, I was really excited when Spiffster Club contacted us so I could check out what their ties were all about.

The first thing I noticed was how nice it was they included this cool insert on different tie tying techniques.

This insert also contained a few mind games, some information on how to properly clean your tie, and some tips from the ever so cool Dr. Howell. I really love stuff like this because a) I don’t wear ties so I don’t stay up on these kinds of things and b) I think it shows how much time and thought Spiffster Club has put into creating the authentic tie subscription box. Kudos to them!

The tie I received was very nice. I can tell just by looking over it and the feel of it that this is something I think a lot of business professionals or other men would want to wear. I can see how receiving a different tie each month would be beneficial to building up one’s collection and have an assortment to wear, especially if you’re required to wear one daily.

 

As you can see, this isn’t too bright, loud, or flashy so I can see how versatile this would be. Business meeting? Yes. Wedding? Yes. Although I always think it’s kind of neat when men wear funny or out of the ordinary ties, I know sometimes the situation isn’t appropriate for those kinds of fashion statements.

I also love the placement of the branding for this. It’s somewhere that is easy to show off if someone asks where you got the tie, but, not in your face where it might be weird if you’re attending an important business meeting.

To recap my overall thoughts, there are so many appealing factors to this subscription box. It seems like in most adult men’s lives, there will be a need to have a tie whether that be for work or exciting events. I’m sure there’s a ton of men out there who despise the thought of having to wear a tie but, it seems like it’s just part of life. One thing I want to also point out is that Spiffster Club offers a variety of ties, including bow ties if you’re feeling ever so fancy.  Personally, I also believe having a new one sent to you every month takes away the hassle of having to find one on the go, and you also get to receive a tie that maybe you wouldn’t have thought of prior. Whatever the reason is, I think there’s a lot of value to this subscription, and I highly recommend you take a look at what all Spiffster Club has to offer!
