When it came time to pick the May 2020 Sprezzabox that I would receive, I immediately knew “Rainman” was the perfect theme. Living in Seattle most of my life, I sure am no stranger to rain. In fact, if I spot you out downtown with an umbrella I can normally assume you don’t live here! All jokes aside, this was another great box that Sprezzabox put together. Now let’s get to the important stuff; what’s inside!
Blue Chambray Neck Tie, Penguin – Retail Value $25.00
Something about this tie is so charming. It kind of looks like jean material upon first glance but unlike jean material, it has a very soft feeling. It’s made out of 100% cotton so that makes sense. I don’t wear neckties but if I did this would be one I would be quick to break out.
Here’s a close up of the tie. I love how it looks blue but, also has the white in the pattern making it versatile to wear with all kinds of suits. Or if the event doesn’t require a jacket, I can picture this tie with all kinds of different shirts.
Z Skin Sunblock – Estimated Retail Value $5.00*
I’m becoming one of those annoying people that always talk about sunscreen. Sunscreen can save lives! It’s so simple too and now it’s part of my everyday skincare routine. We may have a lot of rainy and cloudy days in Seattle but, that doesn’t guarantee protection from the sun. It is exciting to see products like this because I can always use more sunscreen and I’ve never purchased an organic kind before. I found the smell to be pleasant and fruity. From what I can see you can use this product anywhere that your skin comes in direct contact with the sun. I also love that there is no greasy feeling after applying as other products do.

Dark Brown Tortoise Sunglasses, Dibi – Retail Value $35.00
One of my favorite beanies was featured in the December 2019 Sprezzabox Review we had the opportunity to review. I am very happy to see this brand in its box again! I am completely obsessed with sunglasses so I’m really thrilled I have a cool new pair for summer. This normally wouldn’t be a pair that I would purchase so I’m quite pleased to have them now. I tend to wear sunglasses almost daily so it’s nice to have a great collection of them for variety.
Matte Blue Tie Clip, Sprezza – Retail Value $25.00
This necktie fits in so perfectly with the theme. I love the color and the blue reminds me not only of rain but, also summer as well. Which is cool since it’s also part of Sprezza’s Summer Collection. You can easily pair this tie clip with the tie that came in this box or with a variety of others.
Blue & Teal Stripe No Show Socks, Sprezza – Retail Value $8.00
I love the mix of blue on these socks with the grey! The colors are so bright and instantly put me in a great mood. They’re also perfect for summer since I like to wear no show socks with shorts or capris. I did notice a couple of the threads seem to be coming out on one of the socks. I’m not sure if it really means anything other than trimming them if they become bothersome. I’ll just have to test out their durability over time.
Overall Thoughts
The retail value of Sprezzabox, “Rainman” comes out to be $98.00. With the box costing subscribers $28.00, that’s a $70.00 retail savings! This month has such a cohesive theme and it’s always nice to get products that flow well together. I’m someone who struggles to come up with themes so when I see boxes that do, it makes me appreciate them even more. To recap here’s the products in the “Rainman” box:

This is for sure one of the best fashion boxes to sign up for. There’s also the appeal of being able to choose which box you want that month.
