About Stitch Fix
When you first sign up through Stitch Fix, you are given a styling profile to fill out for yourself. Stitch Fix assigns each subscriber a stylist who then helps searches and picks out items that match your style, personality, needs, wants, and budget. There are even examples of outfits that you can rate so your stylist really understands your fashion. Subscribers also decide how often they’d like to receive a ‘Fix’ and schedule them ahead of time. Or, to make it easy, you can also pick to receive a box monthly, quarterly, etc.
Let’s see what came in our box this month!
Peter Skinny Jeans – Retail Value $58.00

I pretty much only wear skinny jeans. They’re my favorite style of pants, and I feel most comfortable in them. However, I’m currently so close to being one size smaller than I am now (woohoo!) so I could not justify buying these at the moment, considering I already own a small fortune of skinny jeans. These were super comfortable and cute though. My stylist did a great job picking these out for me.
Paulsen Brushed Knit Top – Retail Value $38.00

This sweater is adorable! It reminds me of something to wear on a nice fall and crisp day. However, for as cute as it was, I did not like how it looked on my body. I tend to be more insecure about my upper body than my lower half so I can be picky in that sense. However, I love the style and feel my stylist did a nice job picking this out for me.
Arabella Clutch – Retail Value $38.00

I love this clutch so much! I was actually pretty close to keeping it but, I already have styles of the same exact purse that I don’t currently use, so therefore I had to return it. My wallet is happy about it but, I was a little disappointed. I love the design of this bag, and I like that it had a somewhat casual feel to it but, would also look super cute for a night out on the town.
Warren Split Neck Blouse – Retail Value $44.00

While I like the color and the style of this shirt, it’s currently not in my budget. The stitching on it did not look that nice to me, and I feel like after wearing it a handful of times, it would not stay in the same condition. Now, if this shirt was closer to $20-$25, I may have kept it. This would have fit perfectly into my work clothes wardrobe but, I just felt the price was too high for the quality. I also really loved the color of it but, again, I can not justify keeping it at this time.
Pink Clover Conversation Print Pullover
I accidentally forgot to keep the details of the pricing for this piece. Whoops! Unfortunately, I could not find it via a Google Search either. I love the style of this sweater but, I am not a fan of the printing (the hearts) and the sweater. The material clings to all the insecure areas of my body. I also didn’t like the way the sweater feels on me. To be fair though, I tend to be weird about how certain materials feel on my skin. This was probably my least and the only thing I did not like in my box. However, I feel only disliking 1 out of the 5 items sent isn’t so bad!
Overall Thoughts
Overall, this box was a really fun box and I liked almost all the items that Stitch Fix sent me! While I did not keep any, I felt like my stylist understood me and was able to send me some good items. One thing I like that Stitch Fix offers is a rating system at the end of the ‘check out’ process. You can rate how well you liked your fix, and if you’re excited to receive another. You also have an option to keep the stylist you currently have or work with a new one if you feel perhaps you’re not meshing well with them.
Don’t forget, keeping all of the items pays off! Subscribers automatically get 25% off your entire box and the styling fee ($20 per box) is waived!
