One year, twelve boxes.  The Introverted Chick is celebrating its one-year launch-iversary this month!  I had to look back at our reviews to realize that we have been reviewing them since their very first box.  It has been incredible to watch them grow over the past twelve months.   Being that this box was one for celebration, I knew it would be a good one.  This month’s theme is No-vember, as in No-plans-vember.  Let’s dive right in!

Home Sweet Home Pillow, Primitives by Kathy– Retail Value: $14.98

This charming pillow couldn’t have come at a better time.  We are weeks away from moving into our new home and I have been looking for the perfect accent pillows to add.  The texture adds an interesting touch that I adore.  I can see how it would be hard to include an item like this in a box since subscribers have different decor tastes, however, the color is basic enough that anyone can appreciate it.  My favorite part is that the back doesn’t have the texture…which means I can nap on it without leaving sleep lines all over my face.

Dish Towel, Primitives by Kathy – Retail Value: $9.95

I am a sucker for random dish towels so this is right up my alley.  And honestly, if you are in introvert, then you can understand that the sentiment on this towel is perfection!

Hot Pad Holder, Talisman Designs – Retail Value: $7.99

I like that the texture on this silicon hot pad holder almost matches the throw pillow that was included.  Personally, I can see myself using this a lot.  However, I was a bit thrown off though with how it fits this month’s No-vember theme.  But since I love it so much, I didn’t think too hard about the theme and just enjoyed the product!

Introvert Coloring Book & Colored Pencils – Retail Value: $9.95

Sometimes the best plans are staying home, in my pjs, next to a fire and coloring.  If that sounds oddly specific, it is because that is exactly what I was doing before sitting down to write this review up.  While my son already laid claim to the “awesome colored pencils”, I made sure to snag the coloring book.  We both are huge fans of coloring and use it as a way to decompress.  And while I love my son’s Power Ranger coloring books, I was pretty happy to have my own “adult” coloring book to start on.

HandPure Hand Mask, Bodi-Pure – Retail Value: $8.79

What better item to use while I’m relaxing at home this winter?  I don’t know about you, but my hands get insanely dry this type of year.  Between the cold weather and excessive hand washing to avoid the flu, my hands end up feeling like sandpaper.  I have used a hand mask from this company before and loved it so am excited to use these masks as well.

“NO” Socks, Socksmith– Estimated Retail Value: $8.00

Fun socks are always welcome in my home.  I love the bright color of this pair too.  This time of year it is good to have a reminder that it is ok to say “no” sometimes.  Although I would never show my socks to tell someone no, I do like the gentle reminder to myself as I’m getting ready in the morning.

Blank Thank You Cards – Estimated Retail Value: $1.50

Since I was little I was taught the importance of writing a formal thank you card any time someone gave me a gift.  I thought it was very charming that two were included in this month’s box since you know….’tis the gift-giving season.  I’m sure these will come in handy over the next few months.

Sweet Peppermint, Tea Drop – Estimated Retail Value: $1.20

These delicious tea drops are so cute!  They are even already sweetened with cane sugar.  Just drop them in some boiling water, stir, and enjoy.  Funny enough, I tried Tea Drops before in the very first subscription box from The Introverted Chick.  I loved them then and I still love them today!  They make amazing stocking stuffers too!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar, Grab the Gold – Estimated Retail Value: $4.40

Who doesn’t love getting snacks in subscription boxes?  Being able to try new snacks is one of my favorite parts of being a reviewer.  This bar from Grab the Gold is delicious too and made my “job” that much easier.  It tastes like a no-bake peanut butter chocolate cookie.  And will 11 grams of protein, I didn’t really feel like I was cheating on my diet.

Thanksgiving Blend Coffee, JavAroma Roasters – Estimated Retail Value: $2.25

Coffee is another favorite item of mine to review.  I mean, let’s be honest, who doesn’t need coffee to survive?  I thought it was neat that a Thanksgiving blend was included this month too.  I will be saving this for the holiday and enjoying it before the cooking commences.

Overall

This has got to be one of my favorite months from The Introverted Chick!  Everything that was included was something that I can use.  Not only will I use each item, but I will also enjoy using them all.  This box consistently raises the bar of what I’m looking for in a subscription box.  I know the owner puts a lot of work into curating the items each month, and it really shows!
