We have been reviewing The Introverted Chick subscription box for almost a year now! One thing that always sticks out with their boxes is the colorful tissue paper that they wrap all items in. Unwrapping each one feels like Christmas. Another thing that I admire each month is the insert. Sarah, the Head Introvert in Charge, takes a lot of time writing these inserts each month and her quick wit always shines through. Let’s get into the product reviews!
Spiral Memo Pad, Eccolo & Rainbow Pen – Estimated Retail Value: $6.99
Right now we are in the middle of a remodel, and I can’t shake the resemblance that this notepad has to the paint cards that I have scattered everywhere around the house. Because of that, I decided it is the perfect notepad to use for keeping our remodel on track. The rainbow pen is super cool too and one of my new favorite pens.
Rainbow Scrunchie, Lucia’s World Emporium – Retail Value: $4.50
Scrunchies are so in right now! These vibrant fair trade scrunchies are made from handwoven Guatemalan cotton. The incredibly soft fabric is gentle on my fine hair, which is a huge plus. Plus, I’m digging the 80’s vibe of it!
Pure & Natural Body Lotion, Pure Energy Apothecary – Retail Value: $5.00
Getting lotion this time of year is always appreciated since my hands are always dry throughout the winter. This product seemed to work well and soothed my dry hands when used. I really liked the small size of this Pure & Natural pump bottle since it fits perfectly in my purse. My only qualm with it was that that the pump on my bottle didn’t work. However, I can easily twist off the lid and still use the creamy lotion. I love that it is made with all-natural, non-toxic, non-GMO, and PETA certified vegan and cruelty-free ingredients.
Hedgehog Bookmark – Retail Value: $2.95
Since I am an avid reader, especially during this time of year. I loved getting this cute hedgehog bookmark. Typically I am a page bender since I can never seem to find a proper bookmark. I’m happy not to ruin any more books since this little guy will be with me for a while!
The Escape Manual for Introverts By Katie Voz – Retail Value: $14.99
Yes, I am an introvert. It is something that I have really started to embrace in the past few years. Personally, I don’t tend to give excuses. My friends and family know how I am. I tend to be very honest when I have had my fill of interaction and am in need of space. That being said, this book had me chuckling. I think this is a good book for my coffee table, especially since those close to me will get the humor in it.
Nurture Your Soul Tray, Primitives by Kathy – Estimated Retail Value: $24.99
Metal trays are my go-to for easy centerpieces. They are so versatile and can be used at any time of year by simply changing the items you keep on top of them. The watercolor artwork on this tray is very cute and I love the saying. The Introverted Chick also included ideas for changing up the look of the tray. They even included a paper insert that can be used as a first step to show how quick and easy it can look like a whole new piece. I will be using this item for a long time to come!
Himalayan Pink Salt Popcorn, Lesser Evil – Retail Value: $1.00
This Himalayan Pink Salt popcorn is made with just three simple ingredients: organic popcorn, organic extra-virgin coconut oil, and Himalayan salt. No processed vegetable oils, non-GMO, Vegan, Kosher, and Gluten-Free. Wow, talk about Lesser Evil! I’m not typically a huge fan of popcorn, but this bag was yummy. I loved the nice salty flavor and the kernels felt like they melted in my mouth. I’m a new fan of this product.
Apple Pie Bar, Larabar – Retail Value: $1.06
This is the ideal Fall treat to include. With just 5 ingredients (Dates, Almonds, Apples, Walnuts, Raisins, and Cinnamon) it is sure to make the perfect snack. I haven’t tried this bar yet, but I am saving it for the perfect moment this Fall.
Caffeine-Free Tea, Stash- Estimated Retail Value: $0.99
What goes great with a good book? A yummy cup of tea of course! And whether you are team #PumpkinSpiceIsLife or not, The Introverted Chick has you covered. Of course, I’m as basic as they come and love all things pumpkin so I was delighted to enjoy a cup of this decaffeinated tea.
Overall
The Introverted Chick is a box that I’m always excited to open. Their insert is fun to read as it really sets up the vibe for each box. If you are a person that likes a lot of little surprises, then this is the perfect box for you. The retail value is typically well over the price of the box too which is a huge plus for many people. As far as this particular month, I thought they did a great job of curating a box of items that I’ll be sure to use this Fall. Introverted or not, I think most people would enjoy this subscription box.
