September means a lot to the Chick in Charge,  Sarah, over at The Introverted Chick.  For a few reasons, including it being her birthday month, September is her favorite month of the year!   After hearing that, I was excited to see what she had planned for this box.  Let’s dive into this month’s contents.

Homebody Stemless Wine Glass – Estimated Retail Value: $15.99

This stemless wine glass was designed by Sarah exclusively for The Introverted Chick box!  I am 100% a homebody, so of course, I love the saying on this wine glass.  And don’t worry, I put it to great use the first night I recieved it.  This item is my favorite in this month’s box.

Peacock Reusable Tote – Retail Value: $10.99

Doing my part to protect the environment is always something that is on my mind.  So any time I get a reusable bag, I make sure to use it until the handles fall off.  This bag is also made of 95% post-consumer recycled material. I love the bright colors on this bag and will put it to good use. Something that I found great is the Blue Q donates 1% of the sale supports environmental initiatives around the globe.  It is always nice to see a company giving back!

Make Up Eraser– Retail Value: $20.00

This is my first full size Make Up Eraser.  I tried a free sample one earlier in the year and have had it on my wish list ever since.  For one reason or another, I hadn’t gotten around to buying it and therefore was ecstatic to see it in The Introverted Chick’s box this month!  If you are not familiar, it is basically a makeup remover cloth that magically takes off all of your makeup using only water.  And it really works!  I am so happy to have a full size one to include in my nightly routine.

“You Are A Badass” Talking Button & Book – Retail Value: $6.25

So this is a product that I didn’t know I needed until I received it.  While I can’t see me slapping the button at work very often, I decided to put it in my kitchen.  This way, while I”m prepping dinner, washing dishes, and preparing my son’s lunch for the next day, I can give myself so much needed encouragement.  The mini book I will leave on my coffee table for some light reading here and there.

Gold Crown Pen – Retail Value: $1.67

The royal blue bag that this pen came packaged in was the perfect way to make me feel like a queen upon opening it.  Although it isn’t my style, I know the perfect person to gift this pen too.  She will be sure to love it and I can’t wait to hand it to her.

Greta Necklace, Designs by Katie Leigh – Retail Value: $15.00

Personally, I don’t wear a lot of jewelry.  I have been trying to step out of my comfort zone though.  This simple yet beautiful necklace will be the perfect piece to wear around the office.  The chain feels like a nice quality too, so I shouldn’t have to worry about it breaking if my son decided me wants a closer look at it (aka pulls it toward him while still attached to me).

Birthday Socks, Primitives by Kathy – Retail Value: $6.99

I am always happy to get fun socks to wear.  And with Fall around the corner, I get excited to wear my brightest and most cheery socks to keep my spirits high on stormy days.  While I thought about keeping these socks for my own collection, it is actually my best friend’s birthday month, so I will add these socks to a box that I’m curating especially for her.  I know she will love to rock these.

Patch Me If You Can, Dermala – Retail Value: $9.99

I fell in love with these Patch Me If You Can pimple patches back when I reviewed Dermala’s subscription service.  Hands down, they have been the most useful in helping me get rid of the occasional pimple that pops up.  Adult acne is real and it is not fun to deal with.  I actually had just run out of my last pack and was about to order more so these patches came at the perfect time.  Also included was a sample of Dermala’s daily supplement.

Sparkling Mimosa Gummies, Project 7 – Retail Value: $2.20

I would be lying if I said I shared these delicious gummies.  I actually barely made it through taking a picture before I devoured them.  I pretty much love all gummy candies and these were no exception.  They felt very fresh and I loved the orange juice after taste of them.  If I see these at a store in the future, I will be picking up a few bags to share with my coworkers.

Birthday Cake Lollipops, Dum Dums – Retail Value: $0.32

While Dum Dums are on the more inexpensive side, I thought they were a great treat to include in the box.  In the insert, Sarah mentioned that she couldn’t send a piece of her birthday cake so choose to send these instead.  I thought that was a perfectly wonderful way to allow us to celebrate with her.  For the time being, I’m sticking these in my purse for when my sweet tooth needs to be fed.

Overall

There were so really great items in this month’s The Introverted Chick’s box.  And as always, the value is way over the monthly price of the box.  If I have learned one thing about The Introverted Chick, it is that they take amazing pride in curating each and every box.  Every item is thought out and explained in their insert as to why they decided to choose it.  Another great aspect of this box is the wide variety of products that are typically included.  And if one item isn’t your style, they are always great quality so you can feel good about regifting them to someone that will love it.
