#TribeBox

There is so much that I have learned since starting this blogging adventure with Noelle back in April.  One of the most important, yet unexpected, lessons has been finding a tribe of people that we can count on when we feel stuck.  Having people we can bounce ideas off, people to encourage us to keep going, and people that help us laugh when sometimes we want to cry.  As our tribe has grown, so have we.  I feel very fortunate to be in a spot where I can showcase great subscription boxes for our readers to discover.  The Top Knot #Tribebox  is working to build a tribe of woman entrepreneurs that can come together each quarter and deliver an outstanding subscription box.  The subscriber not only gets to discover great products but, they also get to help support small, women-owned businesses.  The below insert that talks about the woman that sponsored this month’s box made me feel like I know them.

#TribeBox Sponsors

Creme Blending Swirl

CREME Blending Swirl - Neon Green

The week before I got this box, I had gotten the FabFitFun Fall box, which contained the original Beauty Blender.  This blender isn’t as good as the $20 Beauty Blender, however, I was quite impressed with this sponge.  It didn’t soak up too much of my foundation and it was very easy to use.  Due to the larger size of this sponge, I couldn’t blend around my eyes very well, but for the price, I would buy this product in a heartbeat.

Wood Sign – Willow + Timber (formerly SMS Designs)

"Make Today Amazing" Wooden Sign

This is a company that I have been following for a few months via their Instagram account, so I was really excited to see a sign from them in the box.  This is a perfect sign for the bookcase in my cubicle.  The penmanship isn’t as pretty as a lot of their newer products, but overall I was happy to get this.

BrushEgg

BrushEgg Makeup Brush Cleaner - Black

I have been seeing similar products the past few years and always thought it was cool, but unnecessary to own.  Boy was I wrong.  My makeup brushes have never been so clean!  This is the beauty product that I never knew I needed, until now.

Earrings

Nickel Earrings - Gold and Silver

My ears are pierced, however, my holes closed back up years ago.  These beautiful earrings have me wanting to pierce them again though.  For now, I will keep them until either I do re-pierce my ears or I find the perfect person to gift them to.

Lace Peep Socks

Black lace, no show socks

I love these lace no-show socks and feel like I can never have too many pairs.  This pair was really nice quality and will get a lot of wear.

Makeup Remover Wipes

SkinLite Make Up Cleansing Tissues - 30 Count

I had actually just run out of makeup wipes so this product came in super handy.  These wipes feel really nice on my skin and did a great job of wiping all my makeup off.  The smell isn’t overpowering like a lot of other brands that I have tried.

SeneGence – Travel Bag, Mirror, and Samples

I’m not sure I will use this little travel bag, however, the mirror is perfect to toss in my purse.  Also included in the bag were some samples of some face cleansing products and lip gloss.

Brightening Cooling Eye Pads

I haven’t seen this product before so was excited to try these on one night.  I am always hesitant to try new products around my eyes and was thankful that these didn’t cause any bad reactions.  They are very cooling and made my eyes feel very refreshed.  I am happy this is a 16 pack since I want to use them a few more times!

Wrist Mala – Hilltop Malas

white marble wrist Mala

When I was unboxing the #Tribebox, I didn’t know what a Mala was, but I knew I loved this bracelet!  After learning it was a Wrist Mala, I had to google what that meant.  Turns out they are used as a meditation tool.  Also, the wooden bead is used as an essential oil diffuser.  Needless to say, it is beautiful and I haven’t taken it off since receiving it.

Floral Bag and Travel Bag – Oh, Helen Boutique

This is another company that I have followed for a few months via Instagram.  Almost everything they post makes me want to pull out my wallet, as their feed looks like my dream closet!  I was excited to receive this high-quality canvas, zipper bags.  I have already designated the large one to be used for quick trips to the store.  It is the perfect bag to have folded in my purse to cut down on my plastic bag usage.  I could also see this being handy for walks to the park with my son.  I’m thinking the smaller bag will be perfect for beach trips next summer.  It’s the perfect size for all my beach essentials.

Overall

I feel like every month I fall in love with a new box.  This month, hands down, it is the #Tribebox.  I felt like they were inside my head and every product was curated toward my mental wish list.  Having a range of items from basic needs (makeup wipes & socks) to products that felt like it was my birthday (bags & Wrist Mala) made me feel like there was someone out there that had my back.  Also knowing that this box helps support other women’s business goals made it that much sweeter.  Make sure to check out each of their websites and social media, you never know what you might find!
