With the weather getting chilly in the Pacific Northwest, I was so excited to review this subscription box from True Serenity Tea.   I recently got into drinking loose leaf tea so this was the perfect box to let me sample a few styles and see what is my favorite.   Included in my box was an insert which included the ingredients for each tea.

Infuser

True Serenity Tea sends an extra item in your first box to get you started on your loose leaf tea adventure.  I personally already have a really cute teapot that I received in a past Fab Fit Fun box, so I gifted this infuser to a co-worker.  However, I love that they included this since I think a lot of people don’t have one handy.  What would be worse than ordering a box of tea that you can’t enjoy until you go buy a new gadget?

Dark Chocolatea  – 1 oz

I honestly have never tried a Chocoltea before and I was absolutely blown away by the sweet chocolate taste that is this tea. This tea wasn’t as sweet as a hot chocolate, however, it is just the right amount of chocolate flavor to cure a craving.   With a tea this smooth and sweet, I would be okay skipping deserts in favor of a nice warm cup.

Maple Creme – 1 oz

Right away when I opened this bag all I could smell was maple so I was pretty excited to get some of this in my cup.  This tea is very smooth and has a great maple taste to it.  I did end up adding a tiny bit of maple syrup to it in order to sweeten it a little bit.  This flavor has been my mid-afternoon treat to me this week.

Pumpkin Chai – 1 oz

Yes, I love all things pumpkin.  I know it is so cliche but I really can’t help it.  Fall is my favorite time of year and this tea is basically the season in a cup.  The ginger is the real star in this flavor though.  It adds a really unique taste that leaves me craving more.

Mandela Masala – 1 oz

An evening cup of chai tea is such a great way to relax.  On a chilly Fall night, I love to unwind with a cup of chai tea mixed with a bit of warm milk.  I can see why this is a global award-winning tea.  The flavors all blend together wonderfully and create such a deliciously bold cup of tea.  This was my favorite flavor in the box, hands down.

Two Bite Cinnamon Rolls

Getting a small snack in the box was a pleasant surprise.  I haven’t ever heard of this brand, however, the cinnamon rolls were very good.  They weren’t overly sweet and were incredibly soft and moist.

Luxury Bath Tea and Satchel – 2oz

This bath tea smelled so beautiful when I opened the bag, that I decided to keep half of it in the provided satchel as a potpourri of sorts for my nightstand.  And while I’m not much of a bath person, I did want to test out this bath tea.  It looked so pretty all dumped into the bath and made me feel very luxurious.

Overall

The overall value of this box is outstanding.  Anyone who enjoys tea would love to get this box and with the price point being so low it wouldn’t break the bank.  The teas are great quality and the added items make it really exciting to open.  I also really like they included a variety of teas and also one that wasn’t caffeinated.  It is apparent that True Serenity Tea puts a lot of thought into curating this box.

  1. I was given a monthly tea subscription as a Christmas gift last year (2020). It is now Christmas 2021 and over the course of the year I received a total of FOUR packages. I contacted True Serenity Tea repeatedly during the year by email, no one responded to voicemail messages and I could never get through directly by phone. At this point I have no desire to get any more product from this company and feel that a reputable company will give the person who gave me the gift a refund for the 8 months of the subscription that the company never delivered. BEWARE of using this company’s subscription services.
