After the last amazing box that we recieved from MyFempowerment, we were pretty excited to review their Winter box.  Their box is focused on helping empower women.  They not only feature products from woman ran businesses, but also each season they donate a portion of their profits to a charity that supports women. This season they choose FUTURES.  FUTURES works to end violence against women and children around the world.  By simply subscribing to MyFempowerment, you get to support this worthy cause.  Let’s dive into all the products and see which businesses we are empowering this month!

I was happy to see that MyFempowerment added in the retail prices of all products to this season’s insert.   That helps give subscribers a better idea of the value of the box, which is outstanding.

Coffee Mug, MyFempowerment – Retail Value: $18.99

Not only do I love coffee mugs, these camping style ones are my favorite right now.  And the color is my all-time favorite color as well.  So basically this mug was made for me!  I have been using it around the house for all my Wintertime beverages.

Instant Chai Tea Matcha, 10th Avenue Tea – Retail Value: $9.99

How neat is this instant chia tea?  I have never seen anything like this before.  You just shake the matcha into a cup and add either hot or cold water.  Talk about magic.  And it tastes delicious too.  Another thing I love about this product is the container itself.  I will be sure to reuse this metal shaker in the future.

Natural Immunity Oil Blend, Pickle’s Potions – Retail Value: $6.00

This roll-on immune booster is something that intrigued me.  I can’t say for sure if it will protect me or not, but I liked the scent so will continue to wear it daily.  I love the roll-on bottle too since it makes it really easy to apply.  Pickle’s Potions has a lot of really neat items for sale that I plan to check out more in the future!

Focus and Clarity Candle, Graham Street EXT – Retail Value: $12.00

I love this little candle.  The tin is the perfect size for anywhere in the house.  And the added floral accents on top make it very charming.  Handmade candles are the best.  I couldn’t find a website for this company but would love to see what other products they have to offer.

Macro Guide & Workout Routines, Pursue Your Potential – Value: $100.00

Taylor Hansen, a certified personal trainer, collaborated with MyFempowment this month and provided subscribers some training and nutritional guides.  The below guides were sent via email in PDF form, which I found incredibly helpful.

1) 5-Day Training Routine: This is a 5-day training split that hits all of your major muscle groups with workouts and video demonstrations

2) 7-Day Ab Challenge and Guide: 7 days of effective, versatile core workouts with videos, tips, and tricks to do them right

3) Macro Guide: Your one-stop guide to understanding macros and tracking

I like the idea of subscribers getting a service inside of a box.  That was super unique to see.

Cookies, HomeFree – Retail Value: $4.50

I have never heard of these cookies, but I am always happy to try new snacks out.  HomeFree cookies are vegan, non-GMO, kosher, and gluten-free!  While getting three packs of cookies felt like heaven, it was short-lived when my son decided I should share them with him.  And by share, he meant two cookies for me and the rest for him.  I was happy to let him munch on these though since they seem like a semi-healthy choice as far as cookies go.

Affirmation Journal, PleaseNotes – Retail Value: $34.95

Again, aqua is my all-time favorite color, so I was immediately excited to see this journal.  That was even before I knew how neat the inside of it was going to be.  See the description below pulled from the PleaseNotes website:

“Thinking there is more to life? Have you hit a wall? Ready to take some big next steps? Here comes The Journal! It’s not only great looking, it’s brimming with activities to get your creative juices flowing. Take the time to figure out what is really important to you and how to vision your best life by using the built-in “Journal Juice” Workbook. This is the only Journal filled with a different Affirmation, Motivational or Inspirational Quote on each page. After using it, you’ll really know that you are Capable of Wondrous Things.”

I haven’t gotten the chance to really dive into this journal yet, but I’m uber excited to sit with it this Winter and really push myself to dig in deep.

Lip Scrub & Lip Balm, Naive Necessities – Retail Value: $12.00

It’s a known fact that I love sugar scrubs.  Surprisingly enough, this is the first time that I’ve tried a lip scrub.  Weird right?  I have no clue what I was waiting for, but I’m sure glad this scrub and balm were included in my box.  The scrub works so good and didn’t make my lips feel overly greasy like I thought it would.  I can’t get enough of this stuff.  And how perfect that they also included a lip balm to keep my lips feeling soft all winter long!

Overall

I can’t say enough great things about MyFempowerment.  They are quickly becoming one of my favorite boxes to receive.  I love the level of curation and how even without a theme the items still tie together.  I could practically use every item in this box at the same time and be living my best life.  And once again, my favorite part of their box is that I’m a part of the greater good in this world.  I’m helping support woman-run business as well as knowing that MyFempowerment is donating to worthy causes each month.  I can feel great in choosing to support this company and that is amazing feeling.
