This month’s theme of BoxyCharm is Stellar:

The inside and the back of the card outline all the products and discusses some other fun features that BoxyCharm offers such as their BoxyLuxe subscription and the popup sales. It also outlines the products that BoxyCharm Premium put in the first rendition of this subscription.

The box I am reviewing today is the first-month of BoxyCharm Premium. The cost difference is $10 more a month (BoxyCharm’s subscription recently went from $21.00 to $25.00 a month).  It promises subscribers will receive at least 1, if not 2 more items each month, and a box value of $175.00+. So that means 6-7 items in comparison to 4-5.

Here’s what was in the box this month!

Dragun Beauty, DrugunFire Skin Perfecting Potion – Retail Value $25.00

This product’s formula claims to work well on all skin tones, and help to conceal, correct, and perfect the appearance of dark circles, blemishes, and discoloration. I am unfortunately someone who has hyperpigmentation and dark circles around her eyes so I was pretty excited to try this out. Anything to help me look better, I will take it! I wasn’t sure how much to use at first so I started off with what I thought was a lot but, it definitely went a long way. I used a beauty blender to blend it out and then put foundation and concealer over it. Honestly, I can’t tell if it helped a lot but, it did seem to cover up more than I’m used to, so hey that’s a win in my book.

QMS Medicosmetics, Intensive Eye Care – Retail Value $150.00

I am always on board to try out anything that might help my dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes look better. The cream doesn’t have a strong odor which is very nice and it felt cool to the touch when putting it on. I have been noticing that shortly applying a slight tingling sensation occurs, so if you have sensitive eyes, you might want to be careful. I’ve only used it for a short time now so I can’t say if it’s helped a lot but, I’ll keep using it and see if I get some results.

Natasha Denona, Bloom Blush and Glow Palette – Retail Value $55.00

This was the most exciting product in the box for me. Natasha Denona has such beautiful makeup and I’ve always wanted to own one of her palettes. Unfortunately, they are a bit on the pricy side so I couldn’t justify buying one in the past. So needless to say I am so excited to now have this in my collection. The shades are absolutely stunning. I swatched them below (sorry some of the shimmer glows did not turn out very well due to lighting) and I love how they look on me. I’ve already used this palette many times and plan to in the future.

Swatched (from the bottom – top): Glow, Glow Extreme, Duo Glow, Blush

The blush is taking me a little bit to get used to only because I only use powder blushes. However, it really is a stunning color!

Kopari, Coconut Rose Toner – Retail Value $25.00

This product can be used underneath makeup as a toner/primer to help with redness, or as a setting spray and can be used to freshen up during the middle of the day. I love the smell of the rose in this spray, which normally I’m not the biggest floral fan. I used this after moisturizing my face and it felt super light and refreshing. This product will get a lot of use since I love using setting spray every time I apply makeup.

BoxyCharm, 5-Piece Brush Set – Retail Value $65.00

I love getting new brushes whenever I can so I am quite happy to see these in the box as well. I used the smallest brush for eyeshadow and it was easy to blend out the formula with it. The bigger brush I tried to use for face powder but, I felt it didn’t work that well as the brush I normally use. It felt too stiff in a way which is weird because the bristles are actually quite soft!  Another thing about the brushes that I noticed for myself personally is that they are kind of awkward to hold. While I do like the shape, in my own opinion, the design does make it more difficult to use. This is just a personal preference.

BECCA, Glow Gloss in Champagne Cream – Retail Value $22.00

This beautiful gloss makes for a nice toper or is gorgeous just on its own, depending on the mood. I personally don’t wear much lipstick on a regular basis so I was happy to receive another gloss that I could wear to work. On the weekends if I’m going out with friends, I definitely some fun lipstick shades. I plan to try this gloss as a topper next time I go out.  One thing that kind of threw me off was the minty scent that the gloss has. When I look at this shade I expect something fruity or sweet. Maybe that’s just me though!

Overall Thoughts & Other Items

Overall, BoxyCharm Premium packed an incredible amount of products into one month’s worth of subscription! The box is a great mix of makeup products, tools, and skincare items. This box retailed at $35.00 but, the overall value of it came to a grand total of $342.00. Technically that’s a $307.00 savings!  Honestly, can you ask for more? BoxyCharm repeatedly knocks it out of the park with their products and new subscriptions. I look forward to this box every single month.

I also love how BoxyCharm is offering other things on their website like the Boxypopup sales, and the ability to upgrade subscriptions. As mentioned this briefly above but, if you want to keep your regular BoxyCharm subscription, you have that option, on top of also having the upgraded Premium subscription. BoxyCharm promises that subscribers will not receive duplicates of any products.
