I tend to think I’m fairly decent at makeup. Lots of practice and trying new products all the time definitely helps.  I also genuinely love makeup and using it as a creative outlet. When it comes to brows though; it’s somewhat my kryptonite. I have never been super good at eyebrows. I see some people on Instagram who have the absolute perfect brows, but, I’ve yet to master that. I typically only use a brow gel since that seems to work well for me.  When Brow Box contacted us to review their subscription I was immediately very excited since I need to try some new brow products and experiment with them.

The box was packed so nicely. I love the eyebrow sticker that it came with as well! I could tell all the products were placed in there thoughtfully which, is much appreciated so nothing is damaged upon arrival.

I love this note was included in the December box. It not only mentions all the normal brow products but, all the goodies that December has to offer! I think the hand written signature on it adds a nice tough as well. Personal details like this can mean a lot to subscribers.

As the first item mentions, this box includes the usual products of a brow pencil, powder, spoolies, and it also included a brow fiber gel. All brow products that are mentioned in this product are the color dark brown.

Eden Brow Pencil (Dark Brown)

The skinny brow pencil is perfect because the small tip of the pencil really helps to create those fine hair strokes in the brows.

Some of the thicker pencils I’ve used in the past end up making my eyebrows too dark and/or waxy so I definitely prefer this kind of pencil. I’m not really great at drawing my brows in this way because I feel like they end up looking boxy but, I will definitely keep using this and keep practicing.

Eden Brow Powder (Dark Brown)

This brow powder was so easy to use and blended so nicely. The color was also an incredible match for me. I used a brow brush and gently stroked this through the hairs to try and create as much of a natural look as I could.

Aigomc Fibre Eyebrows Cream

I’ve never heard of this product before, but, Aigomc Fibre Eyebrows Cream, was interesting to use. The fibers from the gel define and fill the brows in. I used this product on top of the brow powder and I was actually very pleased with how it turned out. I plan to use this without the brow powder next and see how it looks. I have some sparse areas on my brows so I tend to like to fill them in with some kind of product but, I am interested if I can achieve the look I want using this on its own.

The box also came with a 3 pack of these very cute spoolies. I tend to keep these in my purse, as well as keep them lying around at home. It really comes in hand when you wake up and your brows are out of control (especially if you toss and turn as I do). Also, one trick I’ve learned is by accident, too much product gets on your brow, you can use this to help spread the product out on your brow.

Here is the finished product with the brow powder! Not too shabby, huh?

On top of the brow products, December’s box had some other really cool items.

Frida Brow Ornament

Just in time for Christmas, this ornament is so adorable. I love the saying, “We Go Together Like Frida Kahlos Eyebrows”. This was the only ornament I received this year for the Christmas holiday so I was happy this one was included in the box!

Eyebrow Key Chain

I’m not much of a key chain person but, I thought this was a nice touch for the box. It perfectly fits the theme of brows, and it’s not super flashy and will look nice with the other key chain I have on my set of keys.

Frida Long-Sleeved T-Shirt

I love a comfy t-shirt, and the fact that this long-sleeved is super appealing because it being winter season, it’s nice to have this for some extra warmth. The quality of the t-shirt is also super nice. The material is amazingly comfortable!

Overall Thoughts

Overall I was super impressed with this box. As a huge makeup lover, I live for subscriptions like this that include makeup and other fun items. Not only did it come packaged so beautifully and packed neatly but, the brow products were of great quality and I love all the Frida theme items. Since this box is a bi-monthly subscription (coming every other month) I feel like by the time one of the brow products runs out, the next box is already on its way so therefore you don’t even have to run out to the store or order more online.  The price of the box can start as low as $29.54 CAD ($23.30 USD ) but, one downfall for me is that living in the US, the price to have it shipped here is pretty steep. However, if you live in Canada, the shipping is very affordable ($4 per box).  My only hope is now I can get better at filling in my eyebrows as I use these products more!
