After putting off subscribing to CAUSEBOX for what seems like forever…I finally decided to splurge and order myself a one-year subscription.  I have been posting spoilers for their boxes long enough to know that most of the products are ones that I would be proud to use.  The fact that they source from companies that are donating portions of their sales to charities, promoting fair-trade, and/or creating socially ethical products makes me feel amazing about being able to support them!   Now then, let’s discuss the products that came in the Winter 2021 box.

Thread & Supply, Cozy Cloud Wrap – Retail Value $115

This sweater is so soft, you would never guess that it is made of recycled water bottles!  I really wanted to know more about what that means though.  Thread & Supply’s website had the following information:

“This polyester fiber is made from post-consumer plastic bottles in a process that requires much less energy and resources than conventional polyester. Using recycled plastic lessens our need for petroleum, a non-renewable resource, and diverts plastic trash from landfills.”

I am pretty excited to have this piece in my closet.  It is cozy, plush, and makes me feel good knowing that Thread & Supply are using sustainable methods to create it.  Plus, it is perfect for staying warm and cozy at home.  And as far as size, it fit my size 12 frame comfortably.

Activated Eco, Reusable Silicone Baking Mats – Retail Value $18

I have been really wanting to get some silicone baking sheets.  For one reason or another, the purchase kept getting moved to the bottom of my list.  Being at home as much as I am right now, I have found myself baking a lot.  It is such a great stress relief for me.   These 100% food-grade, BPA-free silicone sheets will go a long way to helping me replace parchment paper.  I tried them while baking some cookies, and they worked very well.  These mats are also dishwasher safe, however, a quick wipe with warm soapy water does the trick too.

SKIN&CO Roma, Truffle Therapy Face Toner – Retail Value $30

I have tried several toners over the years, and typically I like them to give me a bit of a sting.  That is how I figure I know they are working.  However, this vegan and cruelty-free toner from Skin&CO offered an amazingly smooth and refreshing alternative that I really enjoyed.  My skin was left feeling clean, even without a sting, plus my skin felt incredibly soft after use.  Also, the smell is incredible!

Zeal Living, Marble Geo Coasters – Retail Value $42

These marble coasters are as classy as they are quality.  They came in a pack of four, which is perfect for my living room side tables. I love the shape and the colors of these beautiful coasters.  And the heavyweight exudes high quality!

Maggie’s Organics, Heathered Slouchy Socks – Retail Value $25

I know socks are typically something to get excited about.  But after the crazy year, we have all had, I tend to get excited about anything that makes staying at home more comfortable.  And these socks are no exception.  They wrap my feet in a soft cozy hug that makes me forget about the rain dumping outside.  Plus, these are made from organic cotton, so I can feel good about rocking these socks!

Soon Skincare, Peony Foot Masks – Retail Value $45

My dry winter feet were in need of a bit more love than the above-mentioned socks could cure.  Cue these vegan & cruelty-free foot masks!  Not only do they smell amazing, but they are also easy to use.  Just separate the pair, put your foot in, and seal it closed.  Then the fun part, sit and do nothing for 15 minutes while your feet are pampered.  After taking off the single-use booties, I massaged the leftover lotion into my perfectly smooth feet.  Not only did my heels thank me, but my soul also did too. Sometimes just taking 15 minutes to relax is all I need to feel better.   Smooth feet is just my bonus!

Overall Thoughts

I am always blown away by the number of high-quality items that Causebox manages to add to their seasonal boxes.  Each product is unique, and the companies have incredible missions that I am proud to stand with.  This season really brought a lot of items that will make staying at home much comfier!  Being an annual subscriber makes things more beneficial since I am able to pick some of my products.  When I get each box, I am not as surprised, however, I know that I will have a box of items that I will use (and love using).  I am already looking forward to my Spring 2021 Causebox!
