It’s officially my last box for this series, and it’s kind of bittersweet. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each box in this series, as I found them all to be challenging, exciting, and really fun to unbox! Each month I didn’t know what to expect and that was really part of the fun for me.

This last box brings up to Switzerland. I was pleasantly surprised to find a special treat in this box, none other than some delicious Swiss chocolate! Talk about sticking to the theme.  Dispatch definitely impressed me with this added little bonus. I wasn’t sure if the chocolate was real until I opened up the package, and to my surprise, not only was it real but, it tasted pretty darn good as well!

One small hint I will give you right off the bat…do not throw away ANYTHING in this box until you’re positive you have solved everything! Trust me on this. Otherwise…well, I’ll just trust that you will listen to me.

Let’s move along to the clues!

The ‘What’s Inside’ Chapter 6 Guide gave us a list of everything we should expect in this box. (Don’t forget, even though this is Chapter 6, it’s the 7th box due to the first being an introduction box).

Besides the chocolate being the first thing that stood out to me (duh, I mean come on, food!) I also quickly noticed the ski tag. I’ve become accustomed to looking for numbers, patterns, and other things that could be used to solve random puzzles here and there, so I think that’s why this caught my eye so quickly.

The QR code on the bottom right side  also took me to a website that looks like this:

What do you think the coordinates are? Also, does this make anyone else want to visit Switzerland to hit the slopes and eat some delicious chocolate?

We also received this Poetry Slam information from Olivia Carmichael. Looks like she also included her Instagram handle, shall we take a peek?

Looking at some of the pictures she posted, I have to think there’s…something a bit dark about them right? But, then again, we know this family is all kinds of messed up.

These news articles were also given to us. It looks like James found the one on the left 2 weeks ago, and the one on the right, a week ago. Looks like all of the circumstances regarding the mysterious deaths in the Van Kress Family are unfolding right in front of our eyes. Between car accidents, and honeymoon deaths, it’s pretty safe to say I want NOTHING to do with this family.

Luckily, our good friends at Bailey Detective Company had our backs again, and sent us some useful documents.

I was given these two letters. Both of which helped me figure out a couple of things. One is a letter addressed to Victoria, and the second is a document about the disappearance of Gideon Thurston. Hmmmm. Any idea how I can piece this together?

If we take a closer look at the white letter with the post-it note, it appears that a letter was sent to Victoria prior to her death, and it’s unknown if she had a chance to read it prior to her fatal demise.

I feel like these clues are really starting to stand out to me, which is pretty dang exciting.

The next clue we get is another letter. I don’t want to give away too much but, I will say, this letter says A LOT. So don’t skim it over quickly or try to read it while you’re distracted. Pay attention and most importantly – read everything.  I am only going to post a snippet of the letter so I don’t give it all away!

The last clue we receive in the final box is a receipt from Camenzind Bank. The receipt gives us another website to go to, which is really important that you go to this website.  You don’t want to skip over any clues, right?

I wonder what this little poem on the back means…

Not going to lie, this had me stuck for quite a while. I was a little frustrated but,  I remembered that I was so close to the answer and I couldn’t give up now! I had to know for sure who the killer was…and you know what….I got it!

Overall Thoughts

My overall thoughts for not only this box but, this entire series is that it’s completely phenomenal! It gave me so much entertainment, and I really enjoyed each and every part of this series. I honestly can say, there’s not a single box that made me think that this series wouldn’t be worth getting every month. There were some repetitive puzzles that might annoy some people (i.e. the Sherlock Holmes clues) but, that didn’t bother me that much. I felt like a real detective, and even though some of the boxes prove to be kind of difficult, I preferred it that way. I don’t want things too easy, or what would be the fun in that?

Another thing I want to add is that even if you can’t figure out every single puzzle each month, you can pretty much still piece enough of it together, to figure out enough clues to move on to the next box.  I also found myself being able to go back and revisit puzzles later on, once I got additional clues from later boxes. If you ever end up feeling stuck – there’s a ton of people on Dispatch’s Facebook Group and on their Slack Forum who would be more than happy to help you out or push you in the direction to figure out clues. I noticed that people are also very respectful and won’t outright spoil anything, and will instead, PM you so it doesn’t ruin anyone’s fun.

It’s pretty safe to say that this box series has been a HUGE hit, and we’re so happy we got to share it with you all! I hope you enjoyed reading all of our reviews, just as much as we enjoyed writing them. They also offer two other series and a kid’s series (we haven’t reviewed them yet) if you want to check out what else Dispatch has to offer.
