Ultra HD Perfector Skin Tint – Make Up For Ever

Retail Value for full size: $36

If you’re a fan of sheer and lightweight coverage, this product is definitely a good one for you. This is a lightweight skin tint that helps blur out those imperfections and also contains SPF 25 to help protect your skin from harmful UV rays. I really liked this product for the weekends because I tend not to wear a lot on the weekends (or try not to) so this is perfect so I still feel confident, yet I can scale back on a full face of makeup. Make Up For Ever makes some amazing products – so I’m very satisfied with this sample.

Full On Lip Polish (Celeste) – Buxom

Retail Value for full size: $20.00

I really liked this color and the product. Buxom is a really great brand, so I’m not surprised that this has such great reviews. I like how much shine the gloss has, and it’s not a very bright color which is right up my alley. I will definitely be using this product.

Purity Made Simple Moisturizer – Philosophy

Retail Value for full size: $25.00

Philosophy is well known and respected brand, so no surprise that I’m also a fan of this moisturizer. I like how it doesn’t feel heavy on my face, and it’s packed with lots of vitamins to keep skin looking amazing. Also, one of the good perks about this product is that it’s good for pretty much every kind of skin type (combination, oily, dry, etc.) which you don’t always find.

Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate – Kiehl’s Since 1851

Retail Value for full size: $66

This product has decent reviews on the website but, it’s difficult for me to say if I love it yet since I can’t see a lot of improvement with just the sample size. I really like that it has a lot of skin nourishing vitamins in it, and it’s something I feel good with putting on my skin. I don’t think I would pay full retail value for it but, that’s only because the price is a little steep.

Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Peel Recovery – Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare

Retail Value for full size: $88.00

This product is a clinical-strength peel that has 5 doses of retinol to help with aging skin.  From the few uses included, I do like the way my skin looks but, again, the price is pretty steep so I’m not sure if I would buy it for what it’s selling for. I admit that skin care isn’t my expertise but, from my personal use it does seem like a product that would really work if you used it consistently. My skin felt less dull and more even after a couple of uses.

My Burberry Blush – Burberry

Retail Value for full size: $90.00

I am in love with this scent! I’ve always been a fan of Burberry’s perfumes, and this one did not disappoint one bit. I love that it wasn’t extremely overpowering but, still had that noticeable floral scent. It’s one of those scents that remind me of spring and summer, so perfect timing to receive this sample.

Overall, I liked almost all the products. If I was going to purchase a full-size product, I would buy the Buxom lip gloss and the Make Up Forever Skin tint. The other ones, I believe are really great products but, they are a little steep in price. If you’re new to makeup, I highly recommend this box. It’s $10 a month, and Sephora gives you a really good range of different products to help you try new things without committing to buying a full-size product.

Also – you receive 50 Beauty Insider points to cash in if you go to Sephora’s retail locations and shop (Disclaimer: Check individual store restrictions before shopping) for your favorite products. If you’re not a Beauty Insider member, I highly, highly recommend you sign up for this, especially if you’re a frequent shopper like I am.
