‘Tis the Season for all things Ugly Sweaters and Holiday Gear. That’s why we were so excited when Shinesty reached out to us and asked us to not only review their boxer subscription but, also sent us some perfect items for this time of the year!
Shinesty offers a wide variety of clothing items and accessories geared towards sprucing up your holiday parties. They even offer free returns & exchanges for domestic orders within the US.
Their boxers claim to be… “the softest, most supportive underwear to grace your grundle” – which unfortunately I can’t attest to, haha but, just for good measure I did put a pair on and this is just my personal opinion but, these felt like butter on me. I know that sounds silly but, I honestly cannot think of another way to describe it. They were the silkiest, smoothest, and most comfortable thing I’ve ever felt. Obviously, I don’t have much to compare it to but – seriously they were super soft. I’m not someone who’s easily convinced without trying something but, I was almost immediately after testing them out.
They come in this cool plastic bag, so you can automatically see what you’re receiving. I really love that and I also love that the pairs sent to us not only stuck to the holiday theme, but, they were some pretty creative designs. To be a fly on the wall during one of their marketing meetings sounds like it could be pretty interesting!

This was also hilarious and creative. I’m getting slight Justin Timberlake, SNLish type vibes…if you catch my drift.
Again, both pairs were incredibly soft. The material also feels durable and doesn’t feel like they will rip easily or look worn down after a few times of wearing them. When it comes to purchasing underwear, I think we can all agree that the fit and comfort of a pair truly does matter.
One thing I will also add is this subscription is available for ladies too!

Interesting enough – I’m not the biggest GoT (Game of Thrones) fan but, I knew exactly what this meant, and thought it was so awesome! I know this is going to be a hit at the Christmas Sweater Party I’m attending in a few weeks.
It’s incredibly soft and comfortable. I could probably live in this sweater which is cool because typically I find Christmas Sweaters to be itchy and uncomfortable. I wish I had gone with my gut feeling and ordered a Large though since this was a little big on me. As mentioned though, Shinesty offers free returns & exchanges for domestic orders so I was really happy that I could send this back in for an exchange.
Here’s what it looked like on me:
Milks Favorite, Women’s Oreo Christmas Pajama Bottoms – Retail Price $69.99
Just like the boxers, the material of these pajama bottoms was so incredibly comfortable and soft. Now if only these would match my sweater above, I could live in this combination for all of winter. I also love Oreos, so I’m really digging this design. I love that Shinesty has a wide variety of themed items that can cater to everyone’s personalities and interests. Going to sleep the last week in these pants has been heavenly.
The Eggnog Aficionado, Ladies Snowman Print Blue Christmas Onesie – Retail Price $79.99
I have always wanted to get a comfortable onesie to wear all December long. Needless to say, I was stoked with this soft version from Shinesty. My favorite feature is the fact that the hood actually zips shut. As a full-on introvert, there is nothing better than being able to zip myself inside my PJs when I need a minute to myself. And did I mention this thing has pockets too? It is like Shinesty thought of everything. As mentioned above, the sizing did run bigger than I expected, so I ordered a bit bigger than necessary. However, I still rocked it for a movie night, and was oh so cozy.
Overall Thoughts
After receiving the boxers from Shinesty, I suspect that they are right – these babies are some of the most comfortable underwear on the planet! Also, how cool would it be to have a new pair sent to you every month? One would never have to worry about ever purchasing uncomfortable underwear again! I also love that they have so many different kinds of clothing items and accessories to spruce up any occasion or allow you to be the hit of the party. Plus, having free returns and exchanges, is a huge plus. I personally dislike having to spend time at the USPS Office trying to weigh items and figure out how much it will be the send something back. Sometimes it’s not even worth it! Shinesty has you covered though.
