Ok, ok, I know what you are thinking…”Abby, you are not single!”.  Yes, I am married, no I am NOT single.  However, that doesn’t mean I can’t sign up for the box that is taking self-care to the next level.  They had an amazing 40% off deal that I couldn’t resist and after seeing the charming products they were including I couldn’t say no.  All of this led me to order the Singles Swag box as a Valentine’s Day gift to myself.  Enough about myself though – let’s dive into the contents!

LOVE Shortbread Cookie – Corso’s Cookies

Retail Value: $5

What better item to receive (from myself) than a sweet treat?  I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to taste test this cookie from Corso’s.  While my heart arrived broken, it didn’t affect the flavor of the dessert.  My son insisted that I share this with him, so like a good mom…I gave him the smaller “half”.  The cookie itself was on the harder side, which is expected for a shortbread cookie.  The glaze was a tad hard too but still tasted delicious.

PomPom Beanie – Blue Revival

Retail Value: $36

This was the product that really pushed me to order the February box from Single’s Swag.  I am in love with this beanie and this given that the retail value of this one item was more than I paid for the box, it was a no brainer for me.  And I have to say I love it even more in person than I did when looking at pictures of it.  The material (60% Acrylic 40% Nylon) is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear.  Lastly, the faux-fur pompom is as stylish as it is fluffy.  This will be one of my most loved beanies!

I Love Me Socks – Standup Socks

Retail Value: $18

I’m a sucker for cute socks.  The bright pink and purple colors instantly cheer me up!  This pair from Standup Socks was perfect to rock on Valentine’s week – and really all year round.  Who doesn’t need a reminder to love themselves?  I think the retail value seems a bit inflated, however, I couldn’t find the retailer online to confirm pricing.  If I had to put a price on them, I would list it closer to $9.

Goddess Refreshing Face Mist – MannaKadar

Retail Value: $24

I have never been one to like face mists, so I was planning on gifting this product to a friend.  However, after trying it I fell in love!  My skin felt so refreshed after the first spray.  I can see myself using this a lot in the future.  I couldn’t find it for sale on the MannaKadar website, so again the retail value can’t be verified.   Admittedly, I get a little worried when products from boxes aren’t listed on the retailer website.

Essential Hydration Hair Masque – Brilliance New York

Retail Value: $45

With the winter month’s almost behind me, my hair was in desperate need of some hydration.  Hair masks are the one item that I have noticed seemed to help the most for me.  This mask from Brilliance New York was no exception.  It went on very smoothly and had a pleasant scent.  My hair felt astonishingly smooth after using each time.

Beaded Bracelet Set – Lily Sky

Retail Value: $58

I don’t typically wear jewelry, but when I do it is this style of beaded bracelet.  They feel lightweight and have a classic look to them that I admire.  While the charms have a charm to them (see what I did there), I can’t say that they are an added bonus.  To me, the charms are distracting and I may see if I can remove them to simplify the look a bit.  This was another item/brand that I can’t locate online, so we will have to take Single’s Swags word on the retail price.  Personally, I would list it closer to the $25 mark.

Eat Pray Love Made Me Do It

Retail Value: $16 $12.52

This paperback book is a collection of short (true) stories that were inspired by the book “Eat, Pray, Love”.  I have only started reading the stories and so far really like it.  The book makes the perfect coffee table accent since the stories are short enough to read between tasks.

Overall

I ordered this box as a treat for myself – and because I was in love with the beanie.  I wasn’t really expecting to be blown away by any of the other items and figured they would make good gifts.  But blown away I was! The hair mask and the face mist were just as marvelous as the beanie was.  For the price point, Single’s Swag curated a fantastic box this month!  My only reservation is the fact that it was so hard to find some of these products online.  Not just from a reviewer standpoint, but as a consumer too.  It makes me wonder about the listed retail prices that are shown on the insert.  All that being said, even if I adjusted the prices to what I thought was more accurate, it is still a win in my book!  What are your thoughts on this box?
