My son and I talk about space more than I care to admit.  He can’t get enough information on the subject and I, in turn, get to learn all sorts of fun facts.  Needless to say, my geek side took over when I found out this month’s theme was I Need Space!   I couldn’t wait to see what Sarah, The Head Introvert In Charge,  sourced to curate this month’s box!

Heat Changing Moon Mug – Retail Value: $15.95

First off, I like big mugs and I can not lie!  This 14 oz mug is the perfect size for my morning coffee and the heat changing feature is pretty rad.  At first, I almost overlooked the boot print in the bottom.  I am so excited to use this mug around the office!

Mercury Glass Candleholder & Votive – Estimated Retail Value: $1.99

I am always a sucker for a new candle holder and lately, the battery-operated ones are my favorite.  I thought this was a neat idea for a Space themed box since when lit up in a dark room it gives off a starry night look.

Solar System Bracelet – Retail Value: $12.00

I love love, LOVE this bracelet.  How cool is it that each planet is represented by a stone? Pluto, is sadly not represented, but, as my son always reminds me Pluto is only a dwarf planet.  Also, I like that it is stretchy since it is easy to get on and off.  This is such a unique item and the type of thing I love to see in subscription boxes.

Starry Night Glow in the Dark Headband – Retail Value: $12.99

I’m not one to typically wear a headband, but I definitely can make an exception for this super cool glow in the dark one.   Not only will it be perfect to use when I’m going a face mask or my makeup, but it will also look pretty neat out during trick or treating.  Yes, I am that person that is already in the mood for all things Halloween!

Pocket Notebook – Estimated Retail Value: $2.49

I stay on top of things (read over-analyze) things in little notebooks like this all the time.  So, I’m always happy to get a new purse journal to scribble down my thoughts.  I like that this item is relevant to both this month’s theme but also the Storm Area 51 drama that is floating around the internet the past few months.  I can’t be the only one that is waiting to see what unfolds on September 20th right?

Sunglasses – Estimated Retail Value: $2.99

While these are cheap sunglasses they remind me of my childhood.  I mean what 80s child didn’t rock this type of sunglasses?  Plus, my son has a slight obsession with sunglass and tends to steal mine all the time, so having a pair that I’m not worried about getting scratched up is always nice.  And yes, he already has tried to steal this pair more than once.

Green Clay Sheet Mask – Retail Value: $7.12

Do you clay masks, but don’t like the mess?  This sheet mask is the perfect answer to your dilemma.  I have so many sheet masks stashed away that I’m sure an onlooker would call me a hoarder.  While I try to use my oldest ones first and rotate in the newer ones, this one looked way to cool to put into my stash.  I am glad I gave it a try right away, it made my skin look fabulous!

Keychain – Estimated Retail Value: $2.99

This small rubber keychain is perfect for me!  Every introvert knows not to invade another person’s bubble.  At times, I forget that not everyone has issues when someone invades theirs and therefore aren’t aware of when they do it to others.  I feel like I need to hold this above my head as I walk around just as a reminder to others that I, in fact, do need my space.

Swarvoski Crystal Charm

This is a product I won’t be using but, others may enjoy. We personally do not support MLM products  (feel free to send us a message if you want further details on why).  I do however like how it ties into the theme and it is a cute product.

Galactic Scene Blank Cards – Estimated Retail Value: $1.99

I always like to have some funky notecards on hand.  They are perfect for any occasion and I love to surprise people with random cards here and there.  I really liked the colors on the two that were included in this month’s box.

Limited Edition Moon Oreos – Retail Value: $2.99

Oh my, how I love Oreos.  They always have the most fun new flavors.  I really don’t buy junk food for my house so it’s always a treat when it comes to me in a subscription box.  My son and I enjoyed these over the course of a few nights and we both really loved them.  He also thought it was cool that there were glow in the dark stickers on the packaging.

Eclipse Gum – Retail Value: $1.22

Ha, I see what they did there.  I love that The Introverted Chick goes out of their way to include items that line up with their theme.  Especially when it’s a product that I will use 100%.

Overall

I am an introvert to the core so this box will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really like the fact that small businesses are featured in The Introverted Chick.  Their items always bring a unique touch to the box and help bring awareness to the companies that I might not otherwise hear about.  Also including companies that I already know and love is very comforting as well, especially when it is a pack of Oreos!  This month’s box was packed with items that I will use again and again.
