April’s theme was “Fresh Blooms” and featured a super cute double-sided product card with the Sleek Treat logo adorned in flowers.  Other than the spring-like design of the insert I didn’t associate the products with the theme like I normally do.  However, in Sleek Treat’s defense, it would be pretty hard to fill a box with treats that tie to the “Fresh Blooms” theme.  Each item was listed along with detailed nutritional information along with some coupon code to use on future orders of the items.

Ketofit Chocolate Nutrition Bar – Retail Value: $2.92

This bar has some serious potential to become one of my favorites.  While it was a bit dry in texture, I ended up really liking that aspect.  The main flavor was that of almond butter.  However, it also featured whole chocolate morsels which were a pleasant surprise.   Another thing that was nice about this bar was that it didn’t cause a mess while I devoured it.  No crumbs were left behind.

The Keto Pop, Buttery Coffee – Retail Value: $1.48

I was very excited to try this lollipop since I love coffee!  The taste is spot on of that of mocha too.  It isn’t very sweet, but the cocoa powder after taste was perfection.  And at only 1 net carb, I can enjoy these with zero guilt!  It was the perfect size treat to devour during my commute home.  Personally, I don’t really like the look of sucking on a lollipop, especially at work so that is a bit of a turn-off for me.  If this was simply hard candy that I could enjoy at my desk, I would buy this treat in bulk.

Just The Cheese, Jalapeño Cheese Bars – Retail Value: $1.99

Snacking on cheese is my favorite after a long day at the office.  Just The Cheese makes me feel like I’m eating chips since it is crispy and has a salty flavor that I crave.  I was excited to try the jalapeno flavor since I love a little kick in my salty snacks.  I can’t say these were spicy, but, I did like the unique flavor.

Curly Girlz Candy, Sugar-Free Pecan Brittle – Retail Value: $5.79

I have tried these in a past Sleek Treat box last year and loved them.  To be honest with as many treats as I get to taste test I had forgotten all about these.  I am so happy they were included in this month’s box again to remind me how much I love them.  If you missed my first review, I can sum it up in ten words: This is the best pecan brittle I have ever had!  Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Choc Zero, Milk, 50%, & 70% Squares – Retail Value: $2.70

Who doesn’t want to still be able to eat chocolate while leading a low carb life?!?  These handy squares are the perfect treat to get me past my post-lunch sugar cravings.  Personally I liked the 70% dark the best, however, I have been on a bit of a dark chocolate kick lately.  A one pound bag of this delicious, guilt-free chocolate is only $4.50, so I will be buying these over and over again.

Quest Protein Cookie, Peanut Butter Chocoalte Chip – Retail Value: $2.00

Quest makes some of my absolute favorite protein cookies so I was rather excited to try a new flavor.  Out of the numerous Quest cookies I have tried in the past, this is the worst flavor I’ve tried.  There is a very strong after taste from the Erythritol that I never noticed in other versions of their cookies.  However, the texture was perfect, as it was very soft and chewy.  I’ll still continue to buy this brand, but, will steer clear of this particular flavor and head for their Snickerdoodle version!

Nutilight To-Go Protein, Peanut Spread & Dark Chocolate – Retail Value: $5.66

During the unboxing video, I mistook this treat for their hazelnut version, which I have tried before and it tastes JUST like Nutella.  This flavor is with peanuts and is a tad different.   This version is more like a peanut butter cup flavor.  I bet this would be amazing over some vanilla mason jar ice cream.  However, I didn’t make it that far and ate this snack right out of the package.  Seriously, give me a spoon and step away!  I still can’t see myself paying over $5 per serving, but Nutilight does offer this product in larger portions that would be more economical.

Overall

We are going on almost a year of receiving Sleek Treat boxes, so I have the confidence to say that you will not be disappointed with their curation.  Month after month they deliver a great selection of low carb treats.  I really like getting to try new brands each month, as well as seeing some of my favorites on repeat.  The team at Sleek Treat tastes tests products beforehand selecting their favorites for upcoming boxes, which is pretty exceptional.  Before I started getting this subscription box I was the one that would randomly buy a low carb snack and hope that it was worth the money.  Now I get a box delivered that is packed full of snacks that I’m almost always sure to love.  I can’t beat that piece of mind!
